1-Jan-67 Freehold, NJ The Bruce Springsteen Story Vol 1 - The Castilles 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) a little static on t1 (01:22), gap at end of t1. Gap t4 00:34 - 00:36 , gap b/w t4/t5, t5 05:31 - 05:37, t7 02:28-02:41.  Yet an excellent historic cd, I recommend it.
1-Jan-67 Freehold, NJ The Bruce Springsteen Story Vol 2 - The Castilles 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) touch of static on t1 & t2. Excellent cd.
20-Sep-69 Richmond, Va Free University 1 Tradeable
1-Nov-69 Richmond, Va Virginia Commonwealth University 1 Tradeable last known gig as "child". Got this cdr on 2/1/4.  Pretty cool cd and sound is fairly decent.
1-Jan-70 Various The Unsurpassed Springsteen Vol 1 " The Early Years " 1 Tradeable
13-Jan-70 San Francisco, CA Live at the Matrix 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) disc sounds nice. This has spaces not gaps between songs , frequency drops off at around 20000 indicating a potential mp3 source, yet no clicks or microgaps nor hiccups between songs. I suspect this is as good as it gets on this cd, as I have been through 2 others already
13-Jan-70 San Francisco, CA Live at the Matrix Vol 1 1 Tradeable
13-Jan-70 San Francisco, CA Live at the Matrix Vol 2 1 Tradeable
1-Mar-70 Long Branch, NJ Sunlight Soldiers At The West End 1 Tradeable
26-Mar-70 West End, NJ Live at The Firehouse (West End) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) this date is not listed on brucebase.  the set list per trader and sounds correct as i listened is :

- soul freek hot
- he is guilty send that boy in jail
- going back to georgia
- Darkness darkness(instrumental)
- the wind and the rain
- resurection
- garden state parkway blues

I verified much above on December 3, 2004, yet some typos.

This is a nice sounding show. I think the date is notional.  Some hints would be, at one point bruce dedicates to West End Fire dept.

track 7 and 8 sound like it was recorded from a record.

As I write this I am searching brucebase and find this from April 24, 1970, they

say , " This soundboard tape is very deceptive in that drummer Vinnie Lopez’s voice microphone is abnormally dominant in the mix, so much

so that it sounds like a co-lead singer (i.e., Robbin Thompson) is interacting with Springsteen throughout the show. However under an

extremely close comparison it can be determined that the “co-lead” vocalist is actually drummer and background vocalist Lopez, with his

microphone turned way up in the audio mix. Robbin Thompson’s voice is definitely not present.

There are three critical clues during the performance that, when combined, powerfully point to the true location and date of this show.

Firstly, Bruce’s dedication to the “West End Fire Department” - this signifies a Long Branch or close proximity location. Secondly, the

distinct sound of wooden side bleachers being stomped during the final song – this signifies it’s indoors and it’s a gymnasium (not a

theatre or concert hall). Thirdly, Bruce recites the opening line of James Taylor’s song “Sweet Baby James” during “Garden State Parkway

Blues” – that places the show no sooner than late March, 1970. Consequently this audio can, to a high degree of probability, be identified

as coming from this April 24, 1970 show"

When I read that, I am not sure about the bleachers, i am not sure who background singers are, but they are prevelant. I didnt hear the Sweet baby jane reference.

This certainly is an interesting cd , please take at own risk.  For someone looking for a history of early bruce and or looking for a fun listening project, this is certainly a cool choice.

trader sent to me with a handrwritten mention of joosse site for cover art.  Here is the setlist according to joosse is as follows.:
March 26, 1970
Firehouse, West End, NJ

Disc 1:
Funkey Broadway
He's Guilty, Send That Boy To Jail
Going Back To Gorgia
Darkness Darkness
The Wind And The Rain
Garden State Parkway Blues
24-Apr-70 West End, NJ Live at The Firehouse (West End) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) this is the same show at 3/26/70.  I have it listed here, because I believe this to be the show from that date.  See my notes on 3/26/70
4-May-70 Long Branch, NJ Torn and Frayed 1 Tradeable
16-May-70 Richmond, VA VCU Gym 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) I cant confrim set list. 2 different set lists from brucebase and killing floor. Comes closer to killing floor, yet I think but cant be certain that song "sweet melinda" is not on my cd (its really hard to figure this stuff out). This is a worthwhile trade until better info comes along. Please understand this will not be remedied in a trade unless agreed upon prior to trade.
13-Jun-70 Bricktown, NJ Ocean Ice Palace 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) here are my notes :   " brucebase discusses the following " An announcer can clearly be heard at the beginning explaining to the audience that the MC5 are delayed in Connecticut and, as such, Steel Mill will be playing instead. These remarks positively link this performance to this venue and date. Nothing in the audio identifies if this is the early or late show."  Well, on this cd, there is no mention to that. here are some song notes and an attempt to reconstruct set list.  most of cd sound is poor, but if you are a completist, looking for history, this could be a decent research project.  Here is set list which i came up with.

1.  unidentified ( i tried) severe volume and quality fluctuations. 11:28
2.  Red Wine
3.  You Know My love has never died
4.  Talking About My Baby
5.  unidentified guitar instrumental (interesting)

I don't know what show this is, and i do not think it is 6/13/70 based on brucebase.   Here are notes from trader, which i disagree with , since track list is totally different.  The most recent trader wrote this in his notes ( i have not verified yet) " NOTE: DATE IS VERY UNCERTAIN. THIS TAPE IS SOMETIMES DATED TO 9/4/71 STUDENT PRINCE, ASBURY PARK. SINCE BOTH THIS AND THE FALL DATES AT THE STUDENT PRINCE ARE RELATIVELY FAMOUS ONES (MAY 14 FOR DR. ZOOM & THE SONIC BOOM, THE STUDENT PRINCE FROM BRUCE'S LATER STAGE RAPS IN "THE E STREET SHUFFLE" ABOUT PLAYING THERE), THE IDENTIFICATION OF THIS RECORDING WITH EITHER OF THEM IS SUSPECT. THE ABSENCE OF THE BACKING SINGERS AND HORNS, HOWEVER, POINTS TO THIS LATER PERIOD. DATE MAY IN FACT BE 2/27/1970. SOUND IS POOR. TRACK 1 "GUILTY" HAS SEVERE VOLUME FLUCTUATIONS THROUGHOUT. IN ADDITION, THIS TAPE SOMETIMES CIRCULATES AS FEBRUARY 27, 1970 OR AS AT THE CENTER IN RICHMOND, VA. AN ANNOUNCER CAN BE HEARD AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TAPE, EXPLAINING THAT MC5 IS STUCK IN CONNECTICUT AND SO STEEL MILL IS PLAYING INSTEAD, CONFIRMING THE ABOVE DATE AND VENUE. A SURVIVING TICKET STUB INDICATES THAT THIS SHOW WAS SCHEDULED TO BE GRAND FUNK RAILROAD WITH MC5 OPENING. MC5 CANCELLED AND STEEL MILL SUBSTITUTED FOR THEM. BRUCE WAS THE WARM UP ACT FOR GRAND FUNK RAILROAD. THE MC5 WERE ON THE BILL FOR THE SHOW, BUT CANCELLED, AND BRUCE WAS SUBSTITUTED, WHICH IS WHY THERE IS NO MENTION OF THE BAND ON THE TICKET. THERE WERE TWO SHOWS ON THIS PARTICULAR NIGHT. "

21-Jun-70 Atlantic Highlands, NJ Clearwater Swim Club "Temperature is Rising" 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) I believe this show to be 7/17/70. See notes.
17-Jul-70 Asbury Park, NJ Sunshine Inn 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) This is a real nice recording considering its age.  You can hear elements of Bruce's early story telling, really neat words, etc.  This was given to me by a cool trader as June 21, 1970, but based on brucebase and setlist, I believe it to be July 17, 1970.  Here is what brucebase says(set list is the same, times are diff by seconds only).   " 17/07/70 - SUNSHINE IN, ASBURY PARK, NJ

DANCING IN THE STREETS (10:50) / COME ON (4:45) / SHERLOCK GOES HOLMES (9:44) / GARDEN STATE PARKWAY BLUES (27:25) / RUN SHAKER LIFE (4:10, end cut)

ONE show, double bill, with STEEL MILL headlining and LOTUS opening. The above-mentioned partial setlist is taken from a circulating 58-minute soundboard recording of good-very good quality. This audio has has only partially circulated on a bootleg "Don't Sweat It" Vinyl in limited quantities and in poor quality. It is circulating in complete form via private CDR sources (usually identified only as “summer 1970” or “mid-1970” or “unknown location”). The audio seems to include the first 3 songs of the night and the final two songs, with “Run Shaker Life” cut very prematurely. This would represent only about half of a normal show’s length. Following a nice show-opening “Dancing In The Streets” Springsteen jokingly comments “it’s all happen’ out there in the street, so what are we doing in here”? During the epic “Garden State Parkway Blues” Bruce mentions driving through Ocean Grove on a Sunday, as well as the fireworks at the Freehold Raceway – both comments draw a noticeable crowd reaction. These comments indicate this audio is from an indoor summertime performance in the Asbury Park area. When combining the sound of the audience size, the track listing and the very limited gig bookings the band had during the summer of 1970 – these combined offer a strong likelihood this audio is from either this night or the following night’s Sunshine In show.

21/06/70 - CLEARWATER SWIM CLUB, ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ

No set details known. ONE outdoor evening show, double bill, with STEEL MILL headlining and GLORY ROAD opening (lineup included Garry Tallent and Bill Chinook). As can seen in the pres report below, this was almost certainly the largest audience Springsteen had played in front of up to this point in his career. Despite some pre-event complaints by local residents, the show ended without incident about 1AM and was deemed a major commercial success by the Swim Club owners – who immediately began organizing a similar event for the end of summer (see 11/09/70). Please note that audio once incorrectly attributed to this show can now be found under the listing for 17/07/70. "
14-Aug-70 Richmond, VA 7th and Marshall Street Parking 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) I cant confirm set list. I have 4 songs on this list, 3 of which are unidentified. The only song I identified was song number 1 which was "come on". This is a great sounding primarily instrumental cd with a Hendrix type influence. Brucelegs and killing floor each identify a similar set list, which is totally different from the published. I tried matching up setlists to other shows without success. Once again, this is a real cool cd and if taken in a trade this will not be remedied unless prediscussed. Total cd is 25:44  Trader did send me good info on this and explained that the set list for this cd is 1. Come On, 2. KT88, 3. The War is over and 4. a bonus track called "darkness, darkness" recorded from an unknown location.
2-Nov-70 Richmond, VA University of Richmond 1 Tradeable
10-Nov-70 Richmond, VA The Mosque (date not authenticated) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) trader can't authenticate date and not sure if set is complete. Sound is poor. This is allegedly the opening act for Ike and Tina Turner. Trader thinks set list is 1.  I Can't Take It No More, 2. Why'd You Do That , 3. Instrumental, 4. Going Back To Georgia. Now my part of the notes. Trader sent me awesome homemade cover art, so if you get this cd , make sure to ask me for artwork.  Frequency analyser showed a drop at 16000, but not a classic mp3 signature. This is a suspected mp3. Really cool recording. The instrumental was awesome. Track changes were clicky on one or two of them and poor leadins, yet T3/4 was fine.  If you can live with the notes above and are an experienced trader, willing to take a chance, this would be a great pick. Please only ask for this if you already have an extensive collection.
20-Nov-70 Richmond, VA Do It With a Feeling 1 Trade Warning classic mp3 signature at 16000, microclicks as well. Undocumented date. I suspect an mp3 (and unfortunately discovered that suspicion on sept 25, 2002). I have traded this quite a bit, and possibly inadvertently infected the gene pool.  One trader believes this actually to be a portion of 1/18/71 (complete version), I have yet to verify, but I know trader has researched and would guess that he is correct.
27-Nov-70 Asbury Park, NJ Sunshine Inn 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) I love the old stuff. Mp3 analyser was fine, yet microglips b/w most tracks. Subtle, yet mp3 is possible and I wont guarantee otherwise. I think this set list matches brucebase. Hard to determine if the song " Turn On Your Lovelight" was played. brucebase indicates poweroutage on t1, 8 minutes into "Dancin In the Street", my cd has a break there, so i dont know, probably the same show.  Times on some are off from brucebase, yet this cd is a touch over 78 minutes.  this sure is a fun one, but take at your own risk. i reviewed on 071703.
18-Jan-71 Asbury Park, NJ Movie of '71 1 Tradeable
18-Jan-71 Sayerville, NJ Steel Mill - The Scene 2 Tradeable This is just one awesome mother effin cd.
14-May-71 Asbury Park, NJ The Bruce Springsteen Story Vol 5 - Dr. Zoom Rehearsal 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) t07 has slight static
15-May-71 Union, NJ Newark State College 1 Tradeable pretty cool show. Sound is nice, considering its from 1971. Bluesy electric feel.
23-Jul-71 New York City, NY The Bruce Springsteen Story Vol 6 " Dance, Dance, Dance " 1 Tradeable
7-Aug-71 Asbury Park, NJ Sunshine Inn "Unititled" 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) I can not verify the authenticity of this show. Brucebase lists no details, yet trader is fairly certain that tracks 1-5 are from 8/7/71, and  track 6 from 4/24/71 (also cuts off abruptly). Sound is good to average or less, a slight humming is on this cd.  frequency analyser was at low 12000 with no serious drop off. accept in trade as is please.
4-Sep-71 Asbury Park, NJ Untitled at the Student Prince 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) not a bad sounding cd, considering the rarity and the age. I am having diffiuclty asessing the actual date as this is an undocumented show.I did a google search and came up with a  4 track song list (Brucebase confirms the set list, and lists the date as an unknown) 1. When You Dance, 2. Bottle Of Red Wine, 3. You Know My Love Has never Died, 4. Tell Me Mama (Why Is It ) So Hard.  Brucebase goes onto mention that this show often shows up as 9/71 (that is the date I had, but that was merely dated by the trade request) or as May 14, 1971, but Brucebase says those dates are suspect. Brucebase identifies this date as between November 1971 and February 1972.  Hence, if you are looking for this as a trade, you need to understand the parameters. frankly , i am glad I have this show.  Classic mp3 signature at 16000, yet i could not hear microclicks. Being so old, i am not sure it this is mp3 or not.
5-Sep-71 Asbury Park, NJ The Student Prince 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) according to brucebase this is a "notional date" (meaning it was assigned an might be innacurate).  Trader says tape has microclicks.
23-Oct-71 Richmond, VA Keller Hall  , University of Richmond 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) this cd seems to follow the track list of brucebase, yet the times are different on the songs, hence I cant explain. The gig sounds like one complete show, so I suspect the dating is correct. I didn’t hear any terrible flaws, so I just don’t know. The cd also has filler for two songs. T5 is indexed , but it is merely an error in the indexing between Hoochie Koochie Man and the last song of 10/23/71 Dont You wanna be an outlaw.  The filler tracks are interesting , the first being " You Know My Love Has Never Died", Bruce introduces Southside on this and Southside plays the blues harp. I couldnt find in brucebase  where southside plays with bruce on this song and I also heard someone on the tape mention that it is an Otis Rush song. The last filler song is one I can't identify. It has a bit of harmonica , some guitar jams...lyrics that say "Tell me now, before I go" "like a Christmas Tree out of season "....sounds like Steel Mill to me.

this set is being traded in lesser quality and shorter form as

additional performances...we believe that our venue is correct.
1-Dec-71 New Jersey Got My Mojo Working ( Soundboard) (date is 11/XX/71) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) cool cdr. seams between tracks, but mp3 analyser was cool. setlist matches killing floor for 12/1/71. Yet track 3 is "look toward the land" , I am guessing that killing floor made a typo. Killing floor mentions often confused with 11/2/70, which i havent checked to see on my copy. Here is what killing floor wrote, "  01-Dec-1971 Unknown Unknown, USA
01 Do it with a feeling
02 Cherokee Queen
03 Look to the river
04 Not fade away
05 When you dance
06 Goin' back to Georgia
07 Got my mojo working
08 It's all over now baby blue

Note:
Often misdated 2-Nov-1970. November 71 to December 72 "
3-Dec-71 Asbury Park, NJ The Student Prince 1 Tradeable
17-Dec-71 New Brunswick, NJ At The Ledge 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) quality is not great. I have tried 3 different sources on this show. Frequencies are low, yet, doesn’t seem like mp3, slight microgaps on some tracks, so I cant determine if mp3 sourced or not. If you don’t have this cd, it is worth a try for historic purposes. Yet, please understand parameters of above before accepting in a trade.
21-Jan-72 Neptune, NJ Sundance Blues Band , Captain's Garter 1 Tradeable date was previously notional. kbmkeefer verified date on 2/11/04, see brucebase
Special guest: Bruce Springsteen
1 CD: 5 songs
1) Bottle of Red Wine (Vini Lopez lead vocal)
2) My Love Has Never Died (Steve Van Zandt lead vocal)
3) Tell Me Mama (Why Is It So Hard) (Steve Van Zandt lead vocal)
4) Confessing the Blues (Bruce Springsteen lead vocal)
5) Sweet Miss Sally (cut short) (Bruce Springsteen lead vocal)

we believe that tracks 4 and 5 are never before traded Bruce
originals! Help with the correct title of Track 5 is desperately
wanted. This show is brand new to all of the known setlist
sources...its not listed on any of them!
4-Feb-72 Richmond, VA "Untitled" The Back Door Club 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) I did an analyser and it had a drop at 22000. I am not certain that this cd is not MP3. I am not an expert or even competently knowledgable on frequency analysis. There are spaces between tracks, they do not appear to me to be 2 second gaps. Could be tape changes or preservation, transfer or theoretically a poor burn at some point. These are some good old songs. Please only accept this cd with an understanding of the above.
26-Feb-72 Richmond, VA Exit Through The Back Door 2 Tradeable
14-Mar-72 Highlands, NJ Challenger East Surfboards 1 tradeable March 14, 1972
CHALLENGER EASTERN SURFBOARDS, HIGHLANDS, NJ

DON’T YOU WANT TO BE AN OUTLAW (6:57)
IT’S ALL OVER NOW, BABY BLUE (11:30)
WHEN YOU DANCE (13:35)
LOOK TOWARDS THE LAND (9:50)
I’VE GOT TO HAVE YOU BABY (5:39)
FUNK SONG (6:25)

The above mentioned 6 songs are taken from audio of a BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN BAND rehearsal. The band line-up is Van Zandt-Sancious-Tallent-Lopez. In addition to the 55 minutes of music there are nearly 7 minutes of fascinating between-song banter, much of it between Springsteen and Tinker West, who Bruce jokingly refers to as “Stinky”. Tinker appears to be testing some new recording equipment. The sound quality is uniformly excellent. It is evident from the discussions that the rehearsals had been going on for some time before the recording starts. It should be noted that this is not Challenger’s more famous Wanamassa location that Bruce had lived in during the 1969-70 Steel Mill era. Tinker West had relocated the factory to Highlands, NJ in mid-1971 and had then constructed a more professional rehearsal room.

The standout track here is “When You Dance”. Although rough quality live renditions exist, this is a clear rendition, with astounding Springsteen-Van Zandt dual lead guitar interplay. Noteworthy as well is “Funk Song” (also known as “Funk Says Right On”). There are no live renditions of “Funk Song” from this period circulating, however Bruce surprisingly resurrected it during a few shows early on the Born To Run Tour (see gig listings for 23/07/75, 29/07/75 and 08/08/75). In addition to the Dylan song, there is also a cover of “I’ve Got To Have You Baby”, an obscure 1956 R&B single by Jimmy Jones & The Pretenders. The complete 62 minutes of audio is currently in limited circulation. However two of these six recordings have been in wide circulation for some time. “Look Towards The Land” first surfaced on boot “BOUND FOR GLORY” (Flamingo), albeit in vastly reduced sound quality to that found on the master tape. “Don’t You Want To Be An Outlaw” (also known by the titles “Jesse James” or “Billy”) first surfaced on “DEEP DOWN IN THE VAULTS” (E Street). The sound quality on the DDITV boot is only slightly reduced from the master tape.
3-May-72 New York City, NY The Unsurpassed Springsteen  Vol 3  " The Hammond Demos " 1 Tradeable
30-Aug-72 New York City, NY Satisfaction NYC ( Max's KC) 1 Not Tradeable after consulting brucebase, I believe this show to be jan 31, 1973, of which I have a much better version. This follows the brucebase set list of 1/31/73 "live at maxs kansas city" exactly.
10-Jan-73 Boston , MA WBCN Studios 1 Tradeable
31-Jan-73 New York City, NY Live At Max's Kansas City 1 Tradeable
2-Mar-73 Berkeley, CA Berkeley Community Theatre 1 Tradeable
24-Mar-73 Lewiston, NY Niagra University 1 Trade Warning this is a difficult show to review.  Here is why.  Brucebase indicates a setlist totally different than the setlist I compiled for this show.  Brucebase also indicates that there is no audio circulating from this show.  I might one day try to figure out more, but here are my notes.  The quality of the show is near awesome.  Occassional flaws, but nothing terribly awful, unless you are looking for purity.  Bruce mentions during the show (if it is even from one venue only), Clarence and Danny. Here is set list:  1.  Wild Billy's Circus (bruce tells story, kind of neat), 2.  NYC Serenade, 3. Spirits in the night, 4. E Street Shuffle, 5. Walking the Dog (i think danny does a little solo with "london Bridges Fallling Down" in the middle, 6. Does this Bus Stop (quality fails a touch here, bruce mentions Dept of Transportation in NYC, 7. And The Band Played (bruce talks about growing up next to a gas station and Ducky Slattery, tells his famous and fun "wanna buy a duck", 8.  Thundercrack (mentions his girlfriend being in the audience, some subtle clicks near end of disc).  I contacted gifter of this cd, and he thinks cd may have been received prior to brucebase.  Like me , he may one day look into this.  I thank him for his generosity of sending me this freebie.
24-Apr-73 Bryan Maur, PA And The Band Played (aka Thundercrack) 1 Tradeable
1-May-73 Los Angeles, CA Ahmanson Theater 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) this cd is "circus song" only. Quality is slightly muddled.  According to brucebase the Circus Song is the only song floating in entirety.  Theoretically, this song could be from another date. For completists only and understand that set list is incomplete, and if I am interpretting brucebase properly, it is the only song that exists from this night.
31-May-73 Richmond, VA Alpha Studios WGOE  1 Tradeable ( see comments ) There is a little static on t1 and t2. There are edits between tracks. I think the edits are because of the age of the cd and the technology at the time. My understanding is that, this is a rare uncirculated show.  This IMO is a nice cd for the serious collector.
31-May-73 Richmond, VA Coliseum 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) rare show, not the best quality, but cool as can be. Mp3 cool per analyser. Here are brucebase notes " HEY SANTA ANNA / SECRET TO THE BLUES / TOKYO / THUNDERCRACK

ONE show, double bill, with Bruce and the boys opening for headliners CHICAGO. The 2nd of 12 consecutive shows opening for Chicago. The above-mentioned 4-song, 40-minute setlist most likely represents Bruce's complete show, bearing in mind these are four of Bruce's lengthier songs from this period and the strict time limit Bruce was under for the Chicago tour shows. This performance is currently only available via a poor quality audience recording of 35 minutes duration. The set closer, "Thundercrack", is not complete, the last several minutes are missing. From an historical standpoint the most interesting track here is "Secret To The Blues" - one of only two circulating audio performances, and the better of the two
2-Jun-73 Baltimore, MD Live On WHFS 1 Tradeable runs a little fast, yet this is inherent.
13-Jun-73 Binghamton, NY Broom County Memorial Arena 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) historic show with only known version of Take me out to the ball game...microgaps between songs which could indicate mp3 sourced, yet frequency analyzer showed frequencies in the low 20000 without quick drop off, which would indicate non mp3 sourced. t1 starts mid song and t7 ends early. Brucebase confirms that this is an incomplete show
18-Jul-73 Various The Unsurpassed Springsteen Vol 2 " Max's Kansas City 1972 -1973 1 Tradeable I really enjoyed this cd. I just love the old stuff and the sound is rather crisp. Some very slight muffles during one of the songs, yet I think it was from the mike and not a flaw.
23-Jul-73 New York City, NY "Untitled" Max's Kansas City 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) Couldnt confirm date since i am having trouble matching it. I did here reference to 1973 on t3 (You Mean so Much to Me). Theoretically this could be a compilation show, but the show sounded like it flowed. Hence, I just, I just , I just don't yet know :-) The cd seemed to frequency analyse okay via cool edit. I am not fluent in mp3 analysis , so I cant swear it is not an MP3. I enjoyed listening to this cd, It might run fast on one song, but heck it is 1973. Please only take this cd's with the inherent risks that I have disclosed. If there is further information, feedback  would be greatly appreciated. The Setlist I compiled is as follows :  1. Song To the Orphans , 2. Zero and Blind Terry, 3. You Mean So Much To Me, 4. NYC Serenade, 5. Sandy (4th Of July, Asbury Park ), 6. Something you Got . I like this cd.
31-Jul-73 Roslyn, NY My Father's Place 1 Tradeable
1-Aug-73 Various The Unsurpassed Springsteen Vol 5 -  "E Street Shuffle Outtakes" 1 Tradeable notional date
31-Oct-73 Bryan Maur, PA Before The Flood 2 Tradeable
17-Nov-73 Manayunk, PA Electric Surges Free 2 Tradeable
6-Dec-73 Washington, DC Play The Tuba and Run 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) very slight occasional static. This is one awesome cd. A very soulful and playful bruce and the band. T6 cuts at the end. Even with the slight  flaws this is a must have cd for collectors of older material. He makes reference to touring with Chicago . "t7 kittys back and t8 jungleland,
where  from ?"  cd agrees with brucebase, t7 and t8 are filler.
6-Jan-74 Boston , MA Introducing Rosie 2 Tradeable date on packaging shows 1/5/74, supposedly incorrect.
12-Jan-74 Parsippany, NJ Joint In The Woods 2 Tradeable
25-Jan-74 Richmond, Va Mosque Theater  1 Tradeable ( see comments ) occasional ruff edits and occasional quality issues with sound. Personally , I like this cd a lot from a historical perspective. Not the best sounding and trader I got it from who is a completist called the sound "poor", nevertheless a good rare cd. I reviewed on 4/9/03.
29-Jan-74 Kent, OH You Mean So Much To Me 2 Tradeable brucebase claims this is the Jan 29,1974 show. Brucebase claims that as of 12/28/03 1/19/74 Kent State Show has not and probably will not circulate.
1-Feb-74 Cleveland, OH Allen Theater 1974 1 Tradeable
18-Feb-74 Cleveland, OH The Agora Club  ( this may be 6/3/74 , still unknown) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) I am fairly convinced that this is the 6/3/74 show
3-Mar-74 Washington, DC NYC Serenade 1 Tradeable excellent sound
3-Mar-74 Washington, DC Saint in The City 2 Tradeable purely sweet, beautiful, haunting and awesome
8-Mar-74 Houston, TX Kent State Radio 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) upon research by a trading friend, he thinks and I concur that this cd is probably a culmination of both 1/29/74 (which I have listed as 1/19/74) and 3/9/74 Lost Radio Show.
9-Mar-74 Houston, TX The Lost Radio Show 1 Tradeable
10-Mar-74 Houston, TX Liberty Hall 2 Tradeable
24-Mar-74 Phoenix, AZ The InnerView 1 Tradeable
9-Apr-74 Boston , MA Radio Waves 1 Tradeable
11-Apr-74 Cambridge, MA Charlie's Bar 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) very interesting cd, potentially an incomplete show as it does not match brucebase. Missing tracks from brucebase not on this cd are "Blinded By The Light", "Growing Up", "Zero and Blind Terry", " For You" and "Rosalita".  Sound is fair. D1T9 has a sweet instrumental intro which i could not identify. During the D1T9 between 0:56 to 01:10, it seemed like the roots of "Mary's Place". I reviewed this on April 9, 2003.
27-Apr-74 Storrs, CT University of Connecticut 1 Tradeable track list is 1. Growing up, 2. Kitty's Back (that does match Brucebase (2 song cd), then t3 is Growing Up and 4 is Saint In City. Brucebase indicates t1 and t2 only, this has 2 additional tracks, presumably from other dates. I cant guarantee date, yet I would imagine t1 and t2 are authentic
9-May-74 Cambridge, MA Rock N Roll Punk 1 Tradeable
2-Jun-74 Toledo, OH Agora 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) make sure you read brucebase about this show. Quality is not good, but cd is a must have for completists.
3-Jun-74 Cleveland, OH You Never Can Tell 1 Tradeable
13-Jul-74 New York City, NY No Money Down 2 Tradeable awesome cd
14-Jul-74 New York City, NY The Bottom Line 1 Trade Warning static on Kittys Back (around the first 3 or 4 minutes. Times do not match those of Brucebase. Jungleland cuts early.  Brucebase also indicates that the date is not confirmed. Brucebase lists "Kitty's Back" as 14:55 and "Jungleland" as 11:28. These discs have "Kitty's Back" as 16:06 and "Jungleland as 07:43.  Other than the initial static, the sound is quite good.
4-Oct-74 New York City, NY Cupid In The City 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) slight hiccups on many of the inbetween songs, which could indicate MP3 sourced. I am not sure. Frequencies were on the low side, but often > 16000. This is a real fun show, quality is fair.
11-Oct-74 Maryland Jungleland 1 Tradeable
12-Oct-74 Princeton, NJ "The Princeton Flood "  Alexander Hall 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) occasional ruff edits. Not the greatest quality, but certainly a good pick for completists. Occassional microclick on d2.
18-Oct-74 Passaic, NJ "Untitled" Capitol Theater (billed to open for John Sebastian) 2 Tradeable
19-Oct-74 Schenecetady, NY Spanish Harlem 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) my understanding is that there are inherent microgaps. my memory tells me pigham release which supposedly is notorious for that
26-Oct-74 Springfield, MA Back In School 2 Tradeable
29-Oct-74 Boston , MA Flesh and Fantasy 2 Tradeable
3-Nov-74 Philadelphia, PA WMMR Studios 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) date is not verified.  This is a real neat interview.  The interview was cut off at 17:42 (all on one track). The interview was cut off right when bruce was going to talk about a song that has no name.  He discusses playing at Avery Fisher Hall and running into David Dye.  They mention how they have yet to play midwest and will be taking a  bus to Texas to play on " Wednesday the 5th". i checked my calender and really couldnt lock into a date. they announced Max and Roy as the "2 new guys" . songs played were "BTR" and "spriit in the night". BTR would date it to 1975, yet it was  unreleased version " not yet heard on radio". Jokes around doing a wine commercial.  Bruce says he hates wine.  They discussed  song "spanish harlem".
23-Nov-74 Salem, MA "Untitled" Salem State College 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) really a cool show. Sound is fair to good. Occasional small flaws. D1t4 which is Estreet shuffle, continues with a minor edit on d1t5. Slight gap on Kittys Back d2t1, 09:20 (real minor). Rosie occupies two tracks with a minor edit on D2t3/t4.  This is not a perfect cd, yet if you are looking for this show and have a substantial collection anyway, it would be a decent choice from a historical perspective.
29-Nov-74 Trenton, NJ I Want You 2 Tradeable
6-Dec-74 New Brunswick, NJ Live at the State Theater in New Brunswick 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) D1t6 ends abruptly at 07:46, d1t7 starts on same song where t6 ends (E street shuffle, hence cover art is wrong), d1t7 also has gap from 02:31 - 02:35. Much of 3 disc set is only fair sound with some slowness. Per Brucebase and a reputable trader , this is just the way this disc is. I concur. Incredible show, unfortunately sound is a touch off. Still a must have for any serious collector (IMO).
8-Dec-74 Burlington, VT Burlington '74 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) Really awesome show, some garbled sound and incomplete set list. Missing 4 tracks on d2 (Sandy, Love So Fine, Wear My Ring and Quarter To Three). Hopefully find a complete set of this. I have gone through 2 receipts on this, both had identical ailments. Please only take in trade with knowledge of above.  this is such a fine show.
5-Feb-75 Bryan Maur, PA Prodical Son at the Main Point ( Remaster) 2 Tradeable holy fucken shit is this powerful.
5-Feb-75 Bryan Maur, PA The Saint, The Incident And The Main Point Shuffle 2 Tradeable
5-Feb-75 Bryan Maur, PA You Can Trust Your Car 2 Tradeable
6-Feb-75 West Chester, PA "Untitled" Widner College 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) there are spaces not gaps between songs. Various taping edits, I do not think the cd is flawed, but that is my opinion.Wings for Wheels which evolved into Thunder Road, mentions " Angelina's  dress sways " Kittys Back rocks !!!
7-Feb-75 West Chester, PA Widener College 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) this show has no known setlist on brucebase. For all I know, this could be a notional date. A few ruff edits, but real cool and worthwhile show for the adventurous collector. Be knowledgable of date and quality risks if you take this in a trade. Kitty's Back freaking rocks with a piercing guitar sequence, im listening as i type, its so fucken sweet. I reviewed this on 4/9/03.  1.  Incident on 57th Street (8:10)
2.  Mountain of Love (3:04)
3.  Born To Run (4:19)
4.  Spirit In The Night (6:26)
5.  Thunder Road (7:26)
6.  Kitty's Back (11:32)
7.  NYC Serenade (2:46) (cut)
8.  Rosalita (10:23)
9.  Sandy (7:01)
23-Feb-75 Westbury, NY The Greatest Performance 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) this really is one awesome performance. I really enjoyed NYC Serenade.   There are slight gaps between songs on D2. I have read that those were done by taper to minimize the length of the applause. " For You " is a wonderful slow version.
7-Mar-75 Baltimore, MD Painters Mill 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) I have received this cd twice from 2 different traders, both of which are very thorough traders. set list does not match brucebase. Silence on t3 1:20 - 1:23, t3 is rosie and cuts in. Setlist of this cd is 1. Incident, 2. Spirit in Night, 3. Rosie, 4. Sandy, 5. I Want You, 6. She's the One, 7. Jungleland.   One Trader has told me that setlist can be rearranged to be accurate. At some point I will try that .  I received the disc again from another source (very well known and reputable) and the same sequence. Hence take with knowledge of above and understand that this may or may not be this date, probably due to age and lack of documentation.
8-Mar-75 Washington, DC "Untitled" Constitution Hall 2 Tradeable ( see comments )  set list does not match brucebase or killing floor.  Plus possible mp3 with classic mp3 signature at 18000, yet microclicks are not always evdient. Some microclicks, some bad edits, murky quality.  First 3 tracks appear to be missing , the tracks that are missing are " Incident", "e-street shuffle" and "Growing Up". " I Want You", cuts in late. I received this disc from 2 different reputable traders and hence i am calling it tradeable, as long as you have knowledge of above
20-Jul-75 Providence, RI Introducing Miami Steve Van Zandt 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) frequencies are fine. Sound is fair. AUD. In between most of the tracks there is a type of microgap. Sounds like a tape stopping for a micro second. I have tried to investigate if inherent or if the taper was stopping to preserve tape. I still have no answer. There are tracks that are seamless which makes me have a gut feel that these are inherent situations. Another trader made me a copy right from the boot and mine sure sounded identical. hence I agree this is probably an inherent problem.
22-Jul-75 Geneva, NY Geneva "75"   Geneva College 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) I received this show from 2 different sources.  The cd I have listed here is from a well known and well respected trader. Sound is fair, yet soundchecks are cool.  Both this cd and the lesser quality predecessor had different set lists than brucebase. The CD i have starts as follows: 1. Spirit In The Night, 2. E Street Shuffle, 3. - 5  agree with brucesbase, 6 Incident on 57th st.  Brucebase lists these songs in a slightly different order.Soundcheck is garbled, but there. d2t11, shares 2 sound checks, "Let The 4 Winds Blow/ Sooth Me" . I have subsequently put in same order as brucebase, of course, now there are ruff edits (as someone already mixed the others), but the order now follows brucebase. Please accept as is, and if requesting in a trade, please indicate if you want the original disc 1 out of order, or my rearrangement without editing of the correct order.  how's that for confusion ?
23-Jul-75 Lennox, MA "Untitled" Music Inn 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) Brucebase has Sha la la and quarter to three, yet coverart from Joose does not have these 2 songs. This cd does match cover art. Sound is quite poor.
25-Jul-75 Kutztown, PA Kutztown State College  ( Keystone Hall) 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) a few poor cuts, but this is one fine cd. No problem, cuts sound like from tape.
26-Jul-75 Kutztown, PA Keystone Hall, Kutztown State College 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) this is a freaking awesome cd, but only for the experienced collector. Waveform showed classic sig, but I heard few seams and no clicks or micro clicks. Set list matches brucebase, but times do not. Real decent sound for a rarer boot. Take at your own risk.
28-Jul-75 Washington, DC Carter Baron Theater 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) classic mp3 waveform, yet no microclicks or seams, other than tape edits. Occasional poor quality .  Nice show. Brucebase indicates that date is not confirmed and an incomplete set list. Brucebase lists "Rosalita" as the last song, whereas this cd does not have Rosalita.
29-Jul-75 Washington, DC Talent and Feeling 2 Tradeable
1-Aug-75 Richmond, VA Mosque Theater '75 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) This is a really fun show.  I had a blast listening to this cd. Occasionally there was a tape warp or speed problem, but it didn’t hinder the great show and fairly good sound. There are some ruff edits, for example D1T5/T6. On D1T10 I think the dude in the audience was discussing smoking an illegal substance :-). The dudes near the taper or they were taping, sure were enjoying the show and I sure did enjoy there presence (heck, i usually hate when people talk during the show). During Kitty's Back, one guy was really into it, he said something like "dasm, this is like getting a blow job".  On a serious note, I did run the cd through a frequency analyser and it did show a classic mp3 signature, yet i could hear no microgaps or clicks between tracks (other than some poor edits. Please accept as is. This cd is worth taking a chance on. I am known as being particular, and this one really blew me away.
2-Aug-75 Norfolf, VA Chrysler Theater 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) for completists only, not a great recording, but interesting because of the period.
8-Aug-75 Akron, OH Incident In Akron 3 Tradeable
10-Aug-75 Cleveland, OH Allen Theater Again 2 Tradeable great show. D2 has filler, which happens to be entire cd of December 6, 1973 .
14-Aug-75 New York City, NY Runaway American Dreams 2 Tradeable
15-Aug-75 New York City, NY Live At The Bottom Line 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) Brucelegs lists sound as a 7.3 . This cd has some quality problems, which seems to be inherent among all discs. Incidently , I have gone through five different trades on this all with the same result.
16-Aug-75 New York City, NY The Bottom Line 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) setlist matches the setlist at joosse.org, yet it doesn't  match set list at brucebase or killing floor. It tested fine on the mp3 frequency analyser, no indication of mp3, good sound considering the age.. Really excellent show.  There are a few minor glitches, such as d1t7/8 edit, D1t8 slight edit at 07:35, D1T11 ));35 slight edit, D2T3 Rosie cuts off early at 07:34 - 07:40.  This is a great cd, assuming you can take risks of set list situation . Please let me know if you have any information.
17-Aug-75 New York City, NY Last Night At The Bottom Line 2 Tradeable ( see comments )  Has microgaps between songs. I ran in cooledit and it registered on the low side of 22000, yet I could see no sharp drop off (when there is a sharp drop off, I think it is an indication of mp3). The potential exists that this is an mp3 sourced show. I checked google and came up with nothing.
21-Aug-75 Atlanta, GA Electric Ballroom ( Upgrade and Complete) 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) pretty cool cd.  The set list matches Killing Floor. Some ruff cuts, but fairly rare to get this full show. A couple of  minor quality problems, but I am fairly certain they are from the source.
21-Aug-75 Atlanta, GA The Electric Ballroom, Atlanta GA 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) really nice cd. slight static on t5 and heavier static at end of t10 (end of track, so very little music is affected), still a great cd.
22-Aug-75 Atlanta, GA The Electric Ballroom 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) this is a real cool cd. I am not sure if the date is accurate, there are spaces between songs, which leads me to believe this is a compilation of some sore.  brucebase offers very little as to documentation.Sooooo, if you take this cd, understand the notes.  here are notes from trader, as he discussed possible notional date "   according to brucebase the show of this date is not real for sure, the disc I have has this setlist:
"Then She Kissed Me"
"For You"
"The E Street Shuffle"
"Kitty's Back"
"Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)"
"4th Of July, Ausbury Park (Sandy)"
"Twist & Shout" "
23-Aug-75 Atlanta, GA It's Gonna Work Out Fine 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) spaces at end of songs, my understanding is that this is inherent. This is one awesome sounding show , complemented by  a hell of a performance.

07. It's My Life
08. Wear My Ring Around My Neck
6-Sep-75 New Orleans, LA Performing Arts Centre 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) not a good sounding show. Definite audience recording as you can hear conversations(twist and shout as an example). Possible microgaps b/w tracks, not sure if it is tape changes or editing. Frequencies when testing for mp3 showed 22000+ with a potential quick drop off. I don't know if original unbooted source is just lesser quality or if show is MP3 sourced.
12-Sep-75 Austin, TX Austin, 1975 2 Tradeable
13-Sep-75 Houston, TX Thank You, Houston ! 2 Tradeable
14-Sep-75 Houston, TX Music Hall 2 Not Tradeable sound is poor. setlist does not match brucebase.

d1
1.  Incident
2.  10th ave freezeout
3.  spirit in the night
4.  Its gonna work out fine
5.  Growing Up
6.  Saint In the city
7.  Estreet shuffle
8.  She's The One

d2

1.  Born To Run
2.  Thunder Road
3.  Kitty's Back
4.  Jungle Land
5.  Rosalita
6.  Sandy

this follows the set list of the Sept 12, 1975 show, yet excludes the following from killing floor

15 Quarter to three
16 Twist and shout
17 Save the last dance for me
16-Sep-75 Dallas, TX Convention Center Theater 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) sound is only fair, yet part 1 of E-Street Shuffle is performance wise , just awesome. Voice and energy almost sounds different on t7. hard to say though. The following is the set list from the cds i have.

disc 1
1.  Incident on 57th street
2.  10th Ave Freeze Out
3.  Spirit In the Night
4.  It's Gonna Work Out Fine
5.  Saint In the City
6.  E-Street Shuffle (cut)
7.  E-Street Shuggle (continued)
8.  Born To Run
9.  Thunder Road
disc 2

1.  Kitty's Back
2.  Jungleland
3.  Rosalita
4.  4th of July
5.  Quarter to 3
6.  Carol

if you look at joosse site, my set is identical to the set they list.

if you look at killing floor from 9/16/75, the differences are Killing floor has "Growing Up" after " It's gonna work out fine", whereas "Growing Up" is not on my cdr.  Killing floor does not list "BTR" or "Thunder Road".

If you look at Brucebase you get a slightly different set list. The differences from my discs are Once again "Growing Up " is listed, but is not on mine, and then brucebase lists "She's The One" after "Estreet Shuffle" and before "BTR"

Here is the brucebase set list....

 16/9/75 CONVENTION CENTRE THEATRE, DALLAS

INCIDENT ON 57TH STREET / 10TH AVENUE FREEZE OUT / SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT / IT'S GONNA WORK OUT FINE / GROWIN' UP / SAINT IN THE CITY / E ST SHUFFLE / SHE'S THE ONE / BORN TO RUN / THUNDER ROAD / KITTYS BACK / JUNGLELAND / ROSALITA / 4TH JULY ASBURY PARK (SANDY) / QUARTER TO THREE / CAROL

Audience tape - setlist completed - thanks Cliff. "
21-Sep-75 Minneapolis, MN "Untitled" Guthrie Theater 2 Trade Warning weird analyser form, shaped as a tilda (~), never saw that before, the waveform hit the lower horizontal axis and then recovered. This cd has micro clicks. I suspect an mp3. Google search showed nothing.
23-Sep-75 Ann Arbor, MI Hill Auditorium, University of Michigan 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair sound, yet real fun show. My son reminded me on April 30, 2003 that this was Bruce's birthday. I listened to entire cd and never put it together….This cd has a classic mp3 signature, there were  a few ruff edits, but sounded like tape and not like an mp3. no microclicks or blips, but still take at own risk. "Saint in the City", guitar work was just awesome.
26-Sep-75 Iowa City, IW Meeting Across The River 2 Tradeable
27-Sep-75 St. Louis, MO Ambassador Theater 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) I don’t see this one on many lists. Pretty good sound and show. Slight flaws on d1t1, quick gap at 04:58 and d2t1 0:07 quick cut, also d2t7 is cut at 2:05
28-Sep-75 Kansas City, MO Memorial Hall 2 Tradeable very nice show, really awesome for a rarer boot.
2-Oct-75 Milwaukee, WI Milwaukee Bomb Scare Show 2 Tradeable
2-Oct-75 Milwaukee, WI Pre Bomb Scare Show 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) AUD, not great quality but I believe unbooted, hence rare.  There are a few quick, somewhat harmless flaws. These flaws seem inherent at the source, but I can not verify. It sounds like the taper was having a little difficulty with machine, starting and stopping. examples are , but not limited to , t2 0:54, 1:30, 1:34, t3 0:30, 1:12, 2:53,  3:28, 4:48, 5:00, 5:23, 6:42, t4 0:05, 1:16.  Let me reiterate that this is still a good cd to have. If you find out that these flaws are not inherent , please let me know and I will change my tradelist.
4-Oct-75 Detroit, MI First Night In Detroit 2 Tradeable
11-Oct-75 Redbank, NJ The Homecoming 2 Tradeable
17-Oct-75 Los Angeles, CA Ain't Nobody Here From Billboard Tonight 2 Tradeable
18-Oct-75 Los Angeles, CA The Roxy Early Show 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) What a great cd this is. Last track on d2 is Carol. The sound of this is not as good as the rest of the cd, yet, this imo is highly recommended. Remember it is 1975, so the sound isnt perfect.
18-Oct-75 Los Angeles, CA The Roxy Late Show 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) cd is missing Jungleland. Jungleland is not on cover art at joosse but is on setlist at brucebase and killing floor.
19-Oct-75 Los Angeles, CA The Roxy Again 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) Qualtiy is not flawless. some recurring noise (not horrible) on d2 throughout.  Just another enjoyable cd. I think I may have heard a fart on d1t1 04:10. The only flaws I heard are the ones described in brucebase, early cuts off on Born To run (d1t7) and  "Going Back" (d2t4).   Brucebase claims the best estreet shuffle ever experienced. I didnt feel the same, but i did listen at work (LU $0.99) .  Brucebase also claims that Scorcese and Deniro were in the audience, and that the dialogue of Bruce saying " You Talking to me ? " during Quarter to 3 shows up in Taxi Driver the following year ? That was a fun thing to hear and ponder.
1-Nov-75 Santa Barbara, CA Roberston Gym 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) lots of flaws and clicks throughout. Yet a fun show, as bruce was in a great post halloween mood. Fair to poor sound. Seams throughout. Static starts on d1 around 5 minutes in, often and intermittent after that. Mp3 anslyser was fine.
6-Nov-75 Tempe, AZ Gammage Hall Arizona State University 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) waveform was generally okay, although suspect on a few tracks. Several tracks have microclicks, but not severe. I don’t think this is mp3, but I wont guarantee. Take as is. This is a fun show. Sound is okay.  Clicks during She's The One on d1t5 03:25 - 04:39. quality varies on this cd. Kitty's Back performance and crowd reaction is worth the price of admission.
9-Nov-75 Tampa, FL Running Dry 1 Tradeable
11-Nov-75 Miami, FL Jaia Alai 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) awesome show and often real good sound. Some tape shifts, but minor. Analysed fine on mp3 wave test.  Issues with the disc are that on disc 1 many of  the songs share tracks. For exmaple d1t1 has 3 songs, and so on. Kittys Back is last song on d1 and is cut, yet it is played in entirety on D2.  This is an awesome cd for the completist, not for a newbie.
18-Nov-75 London, UK DVD: Hammersmith Odeon 1 Tradeable I do not have a dvd burner, hence I cant burn for you, sorry.
18-Nov-75 London, UK VCD: Hammersmith Odeon 1 Tradeable I do not review VCD's. accept at own risk. If damaged or not satisfied , I will replace with a substitute. This is the day my mom died.
21-Nov-75 Stockholm, SW Koncerthus 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) poor sound, classic mp3 sig, yet no microclicks. Take at own risk.
23-Nov-75 Amsterdam , Holland Lost In The Flood 2 Tradeable
24-Nov-75 Hammersmith, UK London Calling 2 Tradeable
2-Dec-75 Boston , MA Boston Music Hall  12/2/75 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) d1t3 quick gap at 05:51, d1t5 minor flaw at 05:15-05:16. Microgaps throughout, last 2 songs on d2 are missing, Party Lights and Quarter to Three.  not a great sounding show. Yet, I don’t see it on to many lists.
3-Dec-75 Boston , MA Boston Music Hall  12/3/75 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) some quick subtle static on 3 occasions during Kittys Back at d1t11 around 16:40 and a few seconds further.
5-Dec-75 Washington, DC "Untitled" Georgetown University 2 Trade Warning analyser drops off at 22000. Not sure if mp3. Sound is slightly muddled, yet this is a rare show. I didn’t hear microgaps or clicks and my suspicion is that this show is okay.  D1t2 has bad edits and sound at around 2:40. D1t8 has some gaps and song is Growing Up, D1T9 has a bad edit (not horrible and is a continuation of Growing Up. The problem of the show is on D2 which has an incomplete set list (missing For You and Quarter to 3) as well as Kittys back is repeated on last track of t1 and first track of t2.
11-Dec-75 South Orange, NJ Seton Hall 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) cover art is slightly wrong. Does not list Born To Run, when indeed BTR is there and should be there according to brucebase.  She's the One is d1t5 and BTR continues after She's the One, but shares d1t5 as well, instead of a new track.  The last song on my cd is Detroit Medley. This agrees with cover art from Joosse's site. Yet, according to Brucebase says that Detroit Medley is followed by For You, Party Lights, Quarter to Three, Wear My Ring and Twist and Shout.  At times cd has ruff edits. All in all a fun CD. I love the dude who moans during Growing Up (D1T8 01:44). Trade with understanding of potential incomplete recording. Incidently , I researched the missing tracks and couldn't find anyone with complete recording. One well known reputable trader has notes very similar to mine. His notes mention that Brucebase agrees that tracks are inherently missing. Yet, his notes may be before a brucebase correction , or perhaps he just made an error.
12-Dec-75 Greenvale, NY Live at CW Post College 2 Not Tradeable classic mp3 signarture with microclicks
16-Dec-75 Oswego, NY State University of Oswego 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) some edits, sounds more like tape stops. I don’t see this on many lists and it is most certainly a worthwhile cd for collectors of the less mainstream. If you are a newer collector, there are many other shows more worthy to get. Yet, there is absolutely nothing seriously wrong with this cd. d2t2 06:40 - 06:47 has some repeating gaps
21-Dec-75 Toronto, CN Bring Out The Hype 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) clicks throughout cd, really awesome sound.  I have gone through 2 different copies of this show, both with the same ailments. Perhaps it is inherent.
27-Dec-75 Philadelphia, PA "Untitled" Tower Theater 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) some  tracks, but not all have microclicks. This does not have the classic mp3 signature of 16000 and a drop, yet it does dropoff quickly at 22000. I do not know if this is an mp3. Please accept in trade only with an understanding of my notes.
28-Dec-75 Philadelphia, PA Sha La La 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) touch of static on Twist and Shout. A few tape stops or what I think (without verification) on d2 between tracks t1/2 and t4/5 . Very minor, this is a very tradeable and enjoyable cd.
30-Dec-75 Philadelphia, PA Teardrops On The Tower Part 1 2 Tradeable
31-Dec-75 Philadelphia, PA Teardrops On The Tower Part 2 2 Tradeable
4-Apr-76 East Lansing, MI Hidden Worlds That Shine 2 Tradeable excellent sound and performance
7-Apr-76 Cleveland, OH Runners In The Night 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) quick gaps at disc 1, song 1, 1.43, song 7, 4.45, disc 2, song 04 , 9.38. Song cuts off at disc 1 song 8 at 5.58 and disc 2, song 5, 08: 04 (both of these are described as inherent flaws at brucelegs.com )
8-Apr-76 Cleveland, OH Leaving The Allen In The Rubble 2 Tradeable
9-Apr-76 Hamilton, NY Colgate University 2 Trade Warning the cd starts out with pretty good sound, on d2 the sound totally deteriorates. I enjoyed the audience talking near the taper on d1 first few tracks, they were having a blast :-).  Cd becomes ulistenable after Blinded By the Light (which incidently was the last time played until Reunion Tour of 99/00
10-Apr-76 Wallingford, CT Wallingford (John Hammond Request Show)(Choate School) 2 Tradeable so freakin awesome. Read brucebase for one person's description of the show. Nice woohoo on d2t5 12:10.
13-Apr-76 Penn State, PA "Untitled" Penn State University 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair sound only. this is an incomplete show . Please understand the noted items. D1T1 starts in the middle of "Night". D2 is missing the last track "Twist and Shout". Some other poor edits, but they wouldn’t make the cd untradeable.  other flaws. this cd would be traded to serious collectors who are knowledgable traders.  Brucebase clearly stated that Night should not be cut and that only a minute of Twist and shout survived.
22-Apr-76 Blacksberg, VA Burruss Hall , Virginia Tech 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) classic mp3 signature. I did not hear microclicks, but sound was not great (not bad either). Some ruff edits. Missing last track which was Twist and Shout. Take at own risk.
29-Apr-76 Memphis, TN Knock On Wood 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) several small gaps on disc 2, still excellent and small gaps should not be a deterrant
10-May-76 Mobile, AL Down In Jungleland Vol. 2 1 Tradeable what an excellent cd. One of my favorites. Haunting rendition of Jungleland
10-May-76 Mobile, AL Prove It All Night (Soundboard) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) Brucelegs actually lists this show as 5/10/76, called Prove It all Night. They suspect that show might actually be edits of 4/7/76 show.  Hence we don’t know if this show is April 7, 1976 or May 10, 1976. Nevertheless, I have both of those shows as tradeable, so unless you are looking for this specific boot, you would probably be better off not taking this cd
13-May-76 New Orleans, LA Mississippi Boss 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) excellent show and must have for even non bruce fans, a few minor gaps on cd and Jungleland cuts short (this is a confirmed flaw at brucebase), don’t let my notes stop you from getting this awesome cd.
27-May-76 West Point, NY EISENHOWER HALL 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) I found the sound to be fair only.  Mp3 analyser showed potential mp3, yet, no micro clicks.  Got this from an excellent dude with some rare stuff.take at own risk only, this cd is only for completists, yet energy is often quite electric and cool.
30-May-76 Asbury Park, NJ Stone Pony 1 Tradeable cool, only one song, but so cool
1-Aug-76 Redbank, NJ First Rendevous Live 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) set list matches brucebase, yet times are way off. Decent sounding show and cool songs. Some tape splices. Potential exists that this is incorrect date. I only say this because of splicing and times. Sounds like it is same show though. If you take in a trade and you find out it is wrong date and can pinpoint why, I will replace with another selection.
2-Aug-76 Redbank, NJ Second Rendevous In Redbank 2 Tradeable
3-Aug-76 Redbank, NJ Third Rendevous In Redbank 2 Tradeable
5-Aug-76 Redbank, NJ Monmouth Arts Centre 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) the analyser showed a severe drop at 19000. I don’t know what that means. There are no microglips that I could detect. This Is a great cd. There are slight flaws in a few places. I don’t know if this cd exists without minor flaws. D1T5 03:03, quick gap. D1T9 Backstreets is cut (this is documented in brucebase, yet i didnt check times to brucebase). D2T3 09:42 and 10:16, quick glips.  Again, this is a really cool show.
6-Aug-76 Redbank, NJ Untitled 2 Trade Warning classic mp3 drop at 18000, micro clicks before new tracks. I suspect as mp3.
7-Aug-76 Redbank, NJ Untitled 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) classic mp3 drop at 19000. Couldn’t detect micorclicks, yet could be an mp3. Sometimes after start of track, 2 seconds in , I might have heard microclicks. Accept in trade  with mp3 risk, and depending on trading knowledge , I may not trade this.
21-Aug-76 Waterbury, CT Palace Theater 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) D1T5 gap 09:18 - 09:20, D1T5 static at 12:07 - 12:28. This is a geat show and a rockin " Raise Your Hand " . There is speculation on Brucebase that this is actually 8/22/76. If you take this in a trade, I will not guarantee the date.
22-Aug-76 New Brunswick, NJ Rutgers '76 (probably misdated and should be 8/22/76) 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) artwork says 10/12/76, upon much investigation, i and others are convinced this is 8/22/76 show.what an awesome show. The 2 minutes prior to She's The One is purely awesome (for me at least). This show is probably misdated , and is probably 8/22/76, many traders think this is called "Springfield Rock City". On November 8, 2002 I listened to 8/22/76 and I think for sure it is the same exact show. see my notes on that show.
22-Aug-76 Springfield, MA Springfield Soundboard 2 Tradeable nice sounding show. This is the same show labeled Rutgers 76 (see 10/12/76). I think , but won't guarantee that this is a crisper version of the two.
4-Sep-76 Asbury Park, NJ The Stone Pony 1 Tradeable one song only, yet that is the set list, Having a Party, with SSJ
26-Sep-76 Phoenix, AZ Memorial Colliseum 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) tape is fair to good quality. Neat show.
29-Sep-76 Santa Monica, CA The Promise In Santa Monica 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) a few non fatal flaws on this cd. D1t3 6:32 - 6:34, d1t5 5:29 -5:31, bad edit d1t6/t7,d1t8 has quick gap at 7:20, bad edit d1t9/t10…d1t10 has intro to Rosie and then repeated again on D2t1. D2t1, quick gaps at 2:50, 10:53, 12:24, d2t2 quick gap at 3:50, cuts at 5:19, d2t3 quick gap at 5:24.  Again, these flaws are minor. If you are looking for this date, it would be a decent pick
30-Sep-76 Santa Monica, CA Civic Center Night 2 2 Tradeable
2-Oct-76 Oakland, CA Paramount Theater 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair to poor sound. Microclicks often occur, yet analyser was fine. Not sure if mp3.  Need to check my other copy from matt to see if any better.
5-Oct-76 Santa Barbara, CA County Bowl (Keith's Remaster) 2 Tradeable
9-Oct-76 South Bend, IN It's Only Rock and Roll 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) occasional muffled sound in th e beginning, but most certainly worth having for a serious collector. Actually quite a fun show
10-Oct-76 Oxford, OH University of Miami 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) really cool sounding show. Pretty nice quality. Set list does not agree with brucebase, but does agree with Joose.  Killing floor mentions that this is a debated show and they are not certain if brucebase or alternate set list is correct. Set list on this cd is same as described as alternate to killing floor , which is : " Very debated date. Often confused with others. An alternate setlist may be: Night Rendezvous Spirit in the night It's my life Thunder road She's the one Born to run Something in the night Backstreets 10th avenue freeze-out Jungleland Rosalita (Come out tonight) "  Miami horns show up on 10th ave freeze out.  again, nice cd. mp3 analyser was fine.
12-Oct-76 New Brunswick, NJ Shut Out the Lights and Steal Away! (a kbmkeefer creation) 2 Tradeable this is supposedly the real deal for the rare 10/12/76 show. Lots of work went into this , with some very experienced and generous bruceleggers. Looking forward to this one. I listened to this keefer creation on 1/28/04. Definitely not the often missed 8/22/76 show. kmbkeefer did a lot of diligence on this one and feels it is the correct show. he investigated thoroughly, plus help of friends.  quality is fair,  but a nice rare disc to have.  this is for completist only as quality is not that good. but !!!, venue significance and historic perspective is neat.
13-Oct-76 Union, NJ Kean College 2 Tradeable
16-Oct-76 Williamsburg, VA William and Mary University 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) show has good energy. Recording is fair to good. Nice cd to have when looking for rarer shows. There are a few edits, but those seem like tape stops. Show analysed at 18000 drop off, hence I can not guarantee this is not mp3 sourced. There are no clicks or microgaps.
17-Oct-76 Washington, DC Rendezvous at Georgetown (thenewguy tree) 2 Tradeable documented as not excellent quality, yet up until June 02 a rare show
18-Oct-76 Washington, DC Georgetown University 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) Interesting beginning to this, with "Growing Up" sounding like the Excorcist (which i believe took place in Georgetown), hence kinda neat. : " NOTES: THIS IS NOT AN MP3 SOURCE ACCORDING TO EAC AUDIO ANALYSIS. INCOMPLETE RECORDING. COVERS ONLY APPROXIMATELY THE 2ND HALF OF THE CONCERT. IT WOULD BE A GUESS BUT THE FOLLOWING SONGS WERE PLAYED THE PREVIOUS NIGHT IN THE SAME VENUE PRIOR TO GROWIN' UP WHICH IS THE FIRST SONG OF THIS RECORDING: SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT, IT'S MY LIFE, THUNDER ROAD, SHE'S THE ONE, SOMETHING IN THE NIGHT, BACKSTREETS. SOUND IS AVERAGE-/POOR (MUDDY WITH VERY HIGH TAPE HISS). DISC ONE: TRACK ONE "GOWIN' UP" FADES IN DURING THE MIDDLE STORY. BAD EDIT FROM TRACKS 5-6, NO MUSIC AFFECTED. TRACK 7 "THE PROMISE" HAS A 1 SECOND GAP ABOUT MIDWAY THROUGH. "  This is same setlist of incomplete show , which brucebase lists..."growing up", "10th ave"," jungleland", "Rosie", "Raise your hand", " You cant sit down","the promise", "BTR".
25-Oct-76 Philadelphia, PA Arena Rock 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) I just noticed on brucebase (2/2/4) that this show mayactually be 8/22/76. I will need to review and see if I can compare.
25-Oct-76 Philadelphia, PA   2 pending my review I never rechecked as of 2/10/04 if my 10/25/76 is legit or not, this is supposedly the real deal. Still need to check my other copy.
27-Oct-76 Philadelphia, PA Spirit of '76 2 Tradeable
28-Oct-76 New York City, NY Palladium 2 Tradeable this cd is blow away excellent. Sound quality real nice. A few glitches here and there. Great horns in " 10th ave freeze-out", great " Backstreets" and "the promise".  " Something in the Night" is haunting and during the song at d1t7 01:04, a dude calls for a beer run and another dude (maybe the taper), starts whispering "shut up, shut up". really cool. I reviewed on 4/28/03.
29-Oct-76 New York City, NY Twistin The Night Away 2 Tradeable excellent sound
30-Oct-76 New York City, NY The Palladium 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) real nice sounding show. A few ruff edits, but very tradeable. Many edits of this age are inherent. D1t6/7, and d2t1/2 are examples. Again, a real nice worthwhile show.
2-Nov-76 New York City, NY Palladium 2 Tradeable fairly decent sound. Good 76 show. Fun Rosie…..nice horns.
3-Nov-76 New York City, NY The Palladium 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) nice cd.a few tape stops, but this is one really fine show.
4-Nov-76 New York City, NY We Gotta Get Out Of This Place 2 Tradeable great sounding show, murray the k opening, ronnie spector
26-Nov-76 New York City, NY Bottom Line  early show (this is a  Patti Smith show ) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) muddled sound, yet rare. Supposedly, this is Bruce showing up for Patti Smith. Set list  says that bruce plays Piano on Gloria and My Generation.  These are notes from brucebase. If I ever get motivated, I should look for Patti Smith cover for this.
26-Nov-76 New York City, NY Bottom Line  late show ( this is a Patti Smith Show) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) This is much better sounding than the early show.Supposedly,  this is Bruce showing up for Patti Smith. Set list  says that bruce plays Piano on Gloria and My Generation.  These are notes from brucebase. If I ever get motivated, I should look for Patti Smith cover for this.
8-Feb-77 Rochester, NY "Untitled"  Auditorium Theater 2 Tradeable not the best sounding show, but I think it is rare , so worth a look. There may have been a  few micrclicks between tracks, but it was very rare and intermittent , so I do not think this is an mp3, but if you accept in a trade, please accept the inherent possibility.
13-Feb-77 Toronto, CN Soul Crusaders 2 Tradeable
15-Feb-77 Detroit, MI Masonic Temple 2 Tradeable
17-Feb-77 Cleveland, OH Richfield Colliseum 2 Trade Warning This cd is suspect. Cd could be  a wrong date. Set list  matches same as 2/22/77. It seems like Ronnie Spector was added in as filler (mp3 analysis was no different. with spector sections and other part of cd.  I I was told to check rosie intro for a clue and ronnie spector filler at end. I coudnt determine anything. What is interesting is set list from that whole week or 2 is similar, except for ronnie spector songs. If songs on d2 were rearranged, then you could duplicate exact set list according to brucebase. I chose not to mess with it. The cd  is actually quite good for an "un-boot.
19-Feb-77 St. Pauls, MN All Night Long 2 Tradeable
22-Feb-77 Milwaukee, WI Action In the Streets 2 Tradeable
23-Feb-77 Chicago, IL Auditorium Theater 2 Tradeable d2 has some transfer problems in beginning. Sounds like garbled tape, but real good show to have for serious collectors.
26-Feb-77 Indianapolis, IN Convention Center 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) This disc has occasional quality problems, a bunch of rough edits. Nevertheless, if you are looking for this date, it is probably worth getting. The show was fun and the sound was fair to good. D1t2 splice at 7:50, skips on d1t3 from 1:00 - 2:00, d2t4 (Quarter To Three) cuts at 6:18.
27-Feb-77 Cincinnati, OH Riverfront Colliseum '77 2 Tradeable filler on d2 from d2t5-d2t10.  Some of the filler is Ronnie Spector.  Filler as follows  d2t5 Something In The Night, t6 Growin Up, T7 I- 10 sounds like Ronnie Spector.  I couldn’t identify songs, so I don’t know if it is from 2/13/77 where she did play 4 songs.
28-Feb-77 St. Louis, MO Fox Theater 2 Tradeable I listened to this on 11/3/04, day that bush beat kerry.  What an awesome frigen performance. The miami horns were awesome. Bruces mood was fun as can be. To me, this is one of my favorite listens. Wow. Awesome sax and then guitar in d1t4 "its my life", haunting version of "backstreets", great band intro, etc, etc.  Sound is real good for a lesser known boot, i was blasting in my car.  Quality is occassional suspect, but this cd is good for all. oh, those were the glory days.
4-Mar-77 Jacksonville, FL Jacksonville (& My Fathers Place) 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) d2t2 Rosie stops near end (missing 6 seconds about),
5-Mar-77 Orlando, FL Jai Lai Fronton 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) low frequencies, but no sudden drop. Frequencies max out at 16000, hence I can not guarantee this is not an mp3 sourced cd, yet I suspect it is NOT. A few tape cuts or edits throughout , such as D1T6 09:00, D2T3 08:02, 11:31 and 12:05. Static on D2T6 from 07:30 till end of track.
6-Mar-77 Miami, FL Jai Alai Fronton 2 Tradeable fairly cool show  and nice quiality for an "unboot"
10-Mar-77 Toledo, OH Sports Arena 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) classic mp3 signature on analyser, yet a really fine sounding cd. I do not think this is mp3 sourced, yet take at your own risk. I could not detect microclicks or any seams or any flaws that are characteristic of mp3s. I have seen this before on others (see pete yorn 99X on my other list).  Backstreets is cool. d2t2 cut at 05:03 - 05:06 , no music affected.
11-Mar-77 LaTrobe, PA St. Vincents College 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) Night cuts in late, the entire song is 2:24, I do not know if that is inherent or not. D2T6 is jumbled a bit at 6:00 for a while. The sound on this cd is only fair.  There are ruff edits. Yet, this is one awesome show. The crowd was in awe. It was a fun listen and highly recommended.
13-Mar-77 Baltimore, MD Towson College 2 Tradeable really fun show
14-Mar-77 Poughkeepsie, NY Mid-Hudson Civic Center 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) this cd has the classic mp3 signature with a drop to 16000. Yet , I could detect no microgaps or evidence of mp3 (you never know though). The sound was great and a really fun cd. Occasional tape flaws, but that often goes with the age.
15-Mar-77 Binghamton, NY Community Arena 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) I really liked this cd, from the beginning where girl in Audience, near taper goes "I'm Ready !!", she sure was digging it, but not annoyingly so. Sound is Okay, not bad, not great. Bruce put on a nice show that night. See brucebase as the setlist is incomplete. This cd matches brucebase setlist, which is : " NIGHT / DON'T LOOK BACK / SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT / IT'S MY LIFE / THUNDER ROAD / MONA - SHE'S THE ONE / TENTH AVENUE FREEZE-OUT / ACTION IN THE STREETS / BACKSTREETS / JUNGLELAND / ROSALITA / BORN TO RUN / QUARTER TO THREE "
18-Mar-77 New Haven, CT Memorial Colliseum 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) according to brucebase a cd of the complete show does not exist. Brucebase indicates that the cd starts with "It's My Life", yet this cd starts with "Spirit In The Night". It does match cover art.  Cover art indicates that side 2 starts Backstreets, wheras on this cd it is d1t8.  The slight flaws are as follows, D1T5 gap at 02:35 -02:36, Backstreets cut at D1T8 (documented on Brucebase), D2T1, slight noise (not sure if taper or not) at 07:20-07:22.  If you are looking for this show, this is a good show to have.
19-Mar-77 Lewiston, MA Central Maine Youth Center 2 Tradeable great sound for the chicken scratch tour.  It was an interesting listen for me (2/22/05) since it is rare, and because I didn’t think the performance was as good as others.  Maybe it was my mood during the listen. I'm not complaining, just an observation, nevertheless, a completist would certainly want this show. thanks to the capn for sending it to me.
22-Mar-77 Boston , MA Stranded In The Park ( With the Miami Horns) 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) very tradeable cd as long as you know slight imperfections d1t6 cut and gap, gap d1t6 12:06 - 12:12, d1t9 some slight noise, d1t9 08:14  what Is he whispering ? :-) , d2t1 gap 09:59, d2t2 sounds like an edit b/w t4/t5, d2t5 gap at 08:13.
23-Mar-77 Boston , MA Music Hall 2 Tradeable ( see comments )  D1T9 (10th Avenue Freeze out). The folowing are the gaps  00:07 - 00:11, 00:17 - 00:31 and then at 4:30.   Artwork has march 23, 1977 as " Are You Prepared For a Heart Attack ", yet brucebase has that as March 22, 1977, nevertheless, set list is accurate to brucebase
24-Mar-77 Boston , MA Running Into The Darkness 2 Tradeable
25-Mar-77 Boston , MA Forced To Confess 2 Tradeable
17-Apr-77 Asbury Park, NJ Stone Pony with Southside Johnny 1 Tradeable
12-May-77 Redbank, NJ Asbury Park All Star Review ( Monmouth Arts Centre ) 2 Tradeable great show where southside was supposed to play, he got strep throat and  Miami Steve and Bruce show up to play. What a great show.  Quality is good , not excellent.  I do not have a set list.
13-May-77 Redbank, NJ Monmouth Arts Centre 3 Not Tradeable set list doesnt match. i contacted trader on 7/24/04.  trader messed up numbering, hence discs might be labled wrong prior to reviewC14 - MAY 13, 1977 "HIGHER AND HIGHER"  3CDR’S   MONMOUTH ARTS CENTRE   RED BANK, NEW JERSEY

NOTE: DATE AND VENUE ARE UNCERTAIN  DISC ONE: BAD EDIT 7-8, OTHERWISE CLEAN  DISC TWO: TRACK 3 FADES OUT @ 13:05 BACK IN @ 13:09, NO MUSIC AFFECTED, IT APPEARS THAT THE BEFORE ENCORE APPLAUSE WAS EDITED OUT.  DISC THREE: TRACK 3 FADES OUT @ 12:30 BACK IN @ 12:35, NO MUSIC AFFECTED. DISC THREE HAS MUDDIER SOUND THAN 1&2
4-Sep-77 Asbury Park, NJ The Stone Pony 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) cd has inverted set list from brucebase and killing floor. Fair sound.  I cant guarantee authenticity and I couldn’t recognize voice of bruce. Take at own risk. Please let me know if you might have additional data.
13-Sep-77 Asbury Park, NJ "Untitled" Stone Pony with SouthSide Johnny 1 Trade Warning classic mp3 signature with dropoff at 16000. There are microclicks 2 seconds before the end of each track. I believe this to be an mp3 sourced cd. This is a 5 song, 4 track show that agrees with jooose.org and brucebase. The show is often muddled and has some flaws and a warp. Yet, if it werent an mp3 this would be a great cd to have. My friend steve is not sure if he was there, here is his recollection, yet , this is the closest i found that comes w/in that recollection " doesnt remember band, late summer, august till october.  dating barb. probably senior year of 1978, could have been 1976 to 1979.  bruce, no band, just him.  definitely stone pony. definite rock. bruce came on probably after 11. played 10th ave freeze out fro sure.... played covers.  thinks he only played a song or two of his, yet, thought 10th was one of em. now that i mention shes the one and thunder road, could be that" oh, well.
13-Oct-77 Asbury Park, NJ Stone Pony 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) trader notes as follows : " NOTES: WITH SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY. THIS RECORDING IS NOT THE COMPLETE SOUTHSIDE SHOW IT ONLY REPRESENTS THE TRACKS WHERE BRUCE PERFORMED WITH HIM. SOUND IS POOR. DISC ONE: TRACK 4 "CAROL" FADES IN LATE AND FADES OUT EARLY @ 1:43. TRACKS PERFORMED ARE: "DOWN IN THE VALLEY", "AIN'T TOO PROUD TO BEG", "SOOTH ME/LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL", "CAROL""
30-Dec-77 New York City, NY CBGB's  (bruce shows up for Patti Smith) 1 Tradeable cool, I love when bruce shows up. Does Because the Night with Patti Smith.
31-Dec-77 Passaic, NJ Live At The Capitol Theater 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) microgap between d1t12 and t13. D2t2 till end of disc has slight static, sounds like a needle on an old record, the sound is muddled as well. This may be a source problem and not part of the original broadcast.  Bruce Springsteen shows up for 3 songs.
19-May-78 New Jersey New Jersey Rehearsals 2 Tradeable cool selection of songs, like "Whole Lotta Love", " Wooly bully" and "Satisfaction".  Cool Little Steven Interview , lots of cool stuff.  Quality is not good, but a great cd for a completist looking to fill collection.  Don’t take this unless you are having trouble finding stuff to take, i write that only for quality reasons only.
23-May-78 Buffalo, NY Shea Theatre 2 Tradeable not the greatest sound, but certainly an interesting and fun show. This was the opening night of the Darkness tour. Please note that the last track shares 10th Ave Freezeout  and You Can't Sit Down.
24-May-78 Albany, NY The Palace Theater 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) sometimes music had a "jumble" to it. Could have been taper, I don’t know. This is still a nice cd, especially if you have been trying to find it.  Brucebase says Audience tape, good quality with no cuts, so I don’t know if mine is flawed or not. I would guess and say that this is inherent, but accept in trade with knowledge of what I wrote.
26-May-78 Philadelphia, PA The Spectrum 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) slight small garble on d1t4, 00:40-00:43. I shouldn’t even disclose it, but, what the heck. Soundcheck is at end of cdd2t3-t12. Soundcheck is not documented as to date, since it doesn’t match brucebase.  soundcheck is quite muddied, yet cool to have. Show sounded great, so sounccheck is a bonus. Here is the track #s and songs of soundcheck( remember all on d2)  3. Thunder Road, 4. unidentified, yet sounded like "Stand On It", 5. Badlands, 6. Night, 7. Night, 8. Unidentified, 9. Paradise by the C, 10. Promised Land, 11. She's the One, 12. Badlands.
27-May-78 Philadelphia, PA The Spectrum 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) I tested for mp3 and waveform looked fine. There are microclicks b/w tracks (real slight). I cant guarantee this show, but is worth a shot for the completist.
29-May-78 Boston , MA Music Hall First Night 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) according to both brucebase and killing floor this show is an incomplete set list. Yet, they list the set list. The cd I have matches the set list until  after The Promise (d2t3). The quality changed with d2t3. According to Brucebase , The Promise is followed by Tenth Ave Freeze Out, on this cd, BTR follows the Promise and then the set list continues correctly. Hence my only differential with brucebase is the addition of BTR. To make things even more confusing, if you look at Killing Floor, there is a song after You Cant Sit Down, called "Mickey's Monkey". My cd does not seem to have that.  Now to a review. The cd is flawed at times, my guess they are inherent flaws. I did notice something odd, at the end of d1t3 (Thunder Road), Bruce mentions that they will be taking a 15 minute break. It seemed odd for them to break after only the 3rd song. If anyone has more info, I would love to hear it. Incidently , MP3 analyser seemed okay on this one. I did test the tracks after quality seemed to change on d2t3 and analyser seemed okay there as well.
30-May-78 Boston , MA Defining The Million Dollar Sound 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) nice sound and performance. d1t1 and t2 have what sounds like splices and incomplete songs. I did a google search and this appears to be an inherent flaw
31-May-78 Boston , MA Looking For That Million Dollar Sound 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) several small gaps, fadesor spaces on disc2 after songs starting at at beg of t6, thereafter. Frequencies are in the 22000 range with no apparent drop off, hence no indication of mp3 sourced.
2-Jun-78 Annapolis, MD Halsey Field House, US Naval Academy 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) missing last 4 tracks per trader. Mentioned he has never seen complete show. Brucebase mentions 3 tracks missing. Compare to brucebase upon review.  The cd cuts off on d2 during Growing Up. Missing tracks according to BruceBase are BACKSTREETS / ROSALITA / SEA CRUISE / 10TH AVENUE FREEZE OUT .  Show isnt even listed on Joose site.  Actually a real fun show with decent sound.
3-Jun-78 Uniondale, NY Colliseum Freeze Out 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) this is one fun show and generally great quality. There are a few bad tape edits, but I think it is the tape stopping and then starting, only between a few songs. Please take in trade as is. I ran a frequency analysis, yet it seemed fine, yet  you never can tell :-). Last, Sandy is the last song on D2, it cuts during the song and then D3 plays the entire track again.
5-Jun-78 Toledo, OH Sports Arena 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) brucebase indicates incomplete setlist. This cdr is missing the song, "you can't sit down". Joosse listed the same set list I have.cd sounded okay, no hints of mp3, yet waveform was suspect.
8-Jun-78 Madison, WI Dane County Coliseum 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) fun show, some tape edits and tic between a couple of tracks, yet waveform looked fine. Click starts off each cd, no music affected. Awesome version of quarter to three.
9-Jun-78 Milwaukee, WI Paradise By The C 2 Tradeable cover art says " audience tape of very high quality, excellent sound and atmosphere". I concur, this is one dasm good cd.
10-Jun-78 Bloomington, MN Bloomington Starts Treating Us Good 2 Not Tradeable this cd, even after replacement has the same notes, not a complete setlist , missing a few diff songs than my orig disc, but nevertheless missing songs " Jungleland and Paradise by the Sea.  new trader indicated unusual waveform, but thinks okay.weird waveform with severe drop at about 8000, microclicks between all tracks. I suspect MP#. Cd is missing songs 12 and 13 Mona and She's The One and missing songs 17 -19, which are BTR, 10th ave and Qtr to Three. Sound is poor.
14-Jun-78 Omaha, NE Music Hall 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) brucebase says "poor quality", I liked this show (10-Oct-03), lots and lots of flaws (seems to be taping, taping conversion or source flaws), fair quality)….Im listening to "Quarter to 3" and this muthar is rockin, big time. What a show……All the way in Omaha. Right on. Get this show to appreciate performance and crowd reaction , not for anytype of flawless quality.
16-Jun-78 Kansas City, MO Kansas City Car Boy 2 Tradeable
20-Jun-78 Denver, CO Red Rocks 3 Tradeable
24-Jun-78 Portland, OR Raising Cain 3 Tradeable I like this cd. At the end of d2t1 Bruce thanks his fans for their support. I like that part.
25-Jun-78 Seattle, WA Darkness on The Edge of Seattle 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) according to Brucebase this is just the 2nd set only.  Apparantly most people including me do not have set 1.
29-Jun-78 San Jose, CA Performing Arts Centre 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) per brucebase, incomplete setlist. This set list is " BADLANDS / NIGHT / SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT / DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN / FOR YOU / THE PROMISED LAND"
30-Jun-78 Berkeley, CA Community Auditorium 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) sound is not great, yet performance is awesome.  Bruce talks about using Steve's guitar and how it sucks, "steve says, that's why he isnt using it". Times differ from brucebase.  Set list differs from brucebase and killing floor , but agrees with Joose site.  Only difference from brucebase is that Candy's Room is after Prove It All Night.  Other hints for purists who might legitamize or dispute the date would be at the beginning of Night, Bruce says " Are you prepared ?" at the beginning of d1t4 he says " this a wild crew out there."
1-Jul-78 Berkeley, CA The Community Theater 2 Tradeable nice cd
4-Jul-78 Los Angeles, CA Darkness On Air (Mystic) 2 Tradeable
5-Jul-78 Los Angeles, CA Live at the Forum 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) as discussed in Brucebase, Prove it All Night is cut off in middle. Also set list and order matches show, but does not match Cover Art. Again, the set list is the exact order of the show, just disc 2 and disc 3 are slightly different than cover art (but show is identical)
7-Jul-78 Los Angeles, CA Roxy Night 3 Tradeable
8-Jul-78 Phoenix, AZ Memorial Coliseum 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) tested okay for mp3, yet it has microclicks.   Intro to "adam raised a cain" was awesome.
9-Jul-78 San Diego, CA Sports Arena 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) a few ruff cuts. Pretty cool show. Times differ than that of brucebase, but setlist follows.
12-Jul-78 Dallas, TX Get Outa My Face 2 Tradeable You must read brucebase to read this shows awesome history. Basically show was supposed to be in a 10,000 seat convention center, as concertgoers got to  the center there was a handwritten sign saying the concert was moved to the 1700 seat theater next door.  Anyway, the sound on the show is good (not excellent), but this show really rocks.  brucebase indicates that this is an incomplete setlist, and this cd matches brucebase upon review on 5/14/03.
14-Jul-78 San Antonio, TX Memorial Auditorium 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) trader notes as follows and I concur : " NOTE: FIRST APPEARANCE OF "THE FEVER" SINCE MARCH 1974. THIS IS NOT AN MP3 SOURCE PER EAC AUDIO ANALYSIS.

FIRST KNOWN VERSION OF THE FEVER SINCE 1974. SOUND IS AVERAGE-/POOR (MODERATELY MUDDY/VERY HIGH TAPE HISS). DISC ONE: "PROVE IT ALL NIGHT" CUTS IN 3/4 OF THE WAY THROUGH THE OPENING GUITAR SOLO. TRACK 9 "RACING IN THE STREET" HAS AN EDIT @ 2:38 FROM "...WE TAKE AL THE ACTION WE CAN..." UNTIL THE INSTRUMENTAL BREAK JUST BEFORE THE VERSE BEGINNING "I MET HER ON THE STRIP THREE YEARS AGO...". DISC TWO: BAD EDIT FROM TRACKS 4-5. TRACK 5 "GROWIN' UP" FIRST LYRIC HEARD "...SUSPENDED IN MY MASQUERADE..." DISC THREE: THIS DISC DISTORTS BADLY AT TIMES. TRACK 1 "THE PROMISE" HAS AN EDIT @ :40 FROM THE OPENING PIANO INTO UNTIL "...LOOKING FOR THAT MILLION DOLLAR SOUND..."
"
15-Jul-78 Houston, TX Colliseum Houston 3 Trade Warning analyser did not have mp3 waveform. Yet, there are microclicks between most tracks. Sound is only fair.
16-Jul-78 New Orleans, LA Louisiana Fever 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) excellent show, pretty good sound. I really enjoyed Proving All Night. D1T7 has a gap at end of song 08:47 - 08:53, doesn’t sound like much was missed
18-Jul-78 Jackson, MS Civic Center 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) mp3 wav analysis okay.  There are microclicks.  Mona is real cool on this one. Weird tape garble occasionally.  I didn’t love performance. Fair sound only . Take at own risk.
21-Jul-78 Nashville, TN Auditorium 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) take at own risk.  mp3 asnalysis okay. Sound is fair. Very fun show.  Set list is identical to brucebase, except, "For You" is located b/w "Fire" and "Mona".  Brucebase mentions an incomplete setlist, but doesn’t discuss.  Killing floor lists "adam raised a cain?" in that spot. Interesting that they have a question mark after that song and they discuss that setlist is probably wrong. To confuse things further,  joose list the song in question as "growin up".  Here are some storyteller excerpts from brucebase.  21.07.78 Nashville, TN, intro to ´Factory´
´´I remember when I was growing up....I lived in this small town and my father used to have a lot of different jobs....he was a truck driver, a guard at the jail but I remember every night for as long as, uh, all the while I was growing up, he used to sit in the kitchen in the dark with a six-pack of beer....(?)...and the only time I used to hear him, I used to have, my bedroom used to be out over the backyard and in the morning, 6 o´clock, it´d be dark, I´d hear him popping the hood to this old 100-dollar Rambler that he had, he´d be trying to get it started out there in the cold....and my mother used to wake him up a half-hour early to start the car (?) drive to work when he worked in this plastics´ factory so this is a song I wrote for him....”

21.07.78 Nashville, TN, intro to ´For You´
‘‘What ? (a woman shouts) just stand here ? (chuckles)....this is about it for this tie (chuckles)....this, this next song....(someone yells) it’s possible....this next song, this is uh.... (?)...it’s, uh, I wrote this, I was living in Asbury Park, on this third floor....it’s funny, the first time we came down South....I remember I´d be in the mens’ room of this little club we played outside of town here, we’d be opening up for Freddie King and uh....a long time ago and this guy came into the....bathroom, he’s standing at the john and he says ‘You guys are pretty good, where youse from ?’, I said ‘We’re from New Jersey’ and he says (cheers) that wasn´t exactly his response (chuckles)....he says ‘What’s that ?’, I say ‘Well, that´s a state, you know, that’s....that´s like you gotta fly to New York, rent a car and roll down the windows....and drive south till you gotta roll ‘em up and you know you’re in New Jersey’ (chuckles)...that´s a joke (chuckles)....that, uh....it’s alright there, it’s only North Jersey, North Jersey, that’s where they train the astronauts ‘cause it looks like the moon (chuckles) anyway, this is from Greetings from Asbury Park, this is ´For You´....”
28-Jul-78 Miami, FL Jai Lai Fronton 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) This is not a good sounding cd. I will never listen to it again. Sound is fair to poor.
29-Jul-78 St. Petersburg, FL In the Heat Of St. Pete 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) classic mp3 signature, yet I could not detect microclicks or gaps. Tuff call. Pretty cool show, I especially like disc 2 with "around and Around".  Sound is fair .
4-Aug-78 Charleston, WV Oh Boy 3 Tradeable
5-Aug-78 Louisville, KY The Gardens 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) cool show, yet d3 has some very slight intermittent static. Still a great show as it has clarence playing a horse race type beginning and I think Macho Man as well on d3. Fun stuff.
7-Aug-78 Kalamazoo, MI Wings Stadium 3 Trade Warning mp3 suspect.  According to brucebase this show is the same as November 25, 1978, except for the cd of this date that circulates is missing Independence Day. I seem to have that show. I need to match up at some point my show of the other date. Some clues might be the talking at beginning of Racing in the Street.  brucebase has set list unknown and Killing floor says it is suspect (but seems to defer to brucebase suspicions)
9-Aug-78 Cleveland, OH Agora Night  (this is crystal cat version) 4 Tradeable Really nice cd, close to a "must have".  Apparantly Crystal Cat erred on the silver pressing (which my friend has) and  put "Racing in the Street" and "Thunder Road" on one track.
9-Aug-78 Cleveland, OH Summertime Bruce 3 Tradeable
10-Aug-78 Rochester, NY Memorial Auditorium 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) mp3 analysis okay. Summertime blues is cut. Factory is real nice version.sherry darling was cool as well. I always like hearing that prior to 81 release.  Fair sound in beginning, yet improves intermittently. This turns out to be a fun and good show.
14-Aug-78 Hampton, VA The Coliseum 3 Tradeable wonderful show.
15-Aug-78 Landover, MD Racing in Maryland's Streets 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) Bruce seemed to be in an excellent mood on this one. The sound is good, not fantastic. This is a nice CD to own. D1T10 03:51 - 04:09 there is a gap, yet, I think this is a tape turn and not a flaw, although the song is cut off early (my guess and only a guess is that it is an inherent issue.  D1T12 03:00 - 03:14 there is a low pitch sound.
15-Aug-78 Largo, MD VCD - I Fucked Everything Up 4 Tradeable ( see comments ) I do not review VCD's. accept at own risk. If damaged or not satisfied , I will replace with a substitute.
18-Aug-78 Philadelphia, PA The Spectrum 2 Tradeable
19-Aug-78 Philadelphia, PA The Jersey Devil, Live at Spectrum 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) suspect potential MP3 , analyses at 16000, with some shoots to 18000 (but infrequent). D2T5 slight drop at 3:00, Quarter to 3 disc ends abruptly.
21-Aug-78 New York City, NY MSG Night One 3 Tradeable  gap disc1track8..9:32-9:40
22-Aug-78 New York City, NY MSG Night Two 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) did an mp3 analyser and there is a fade down (not classic drop) at 20,000, yet most tracks seem seamless, hence I don’t believe this to be an MP3. D2T1 is an error, it is an 14 second  track that is repeated on d2t2. This is a fine cd and this error should not deter you. One could merely edit out the track. Another argument would be that this is a flawed cd and cant be trusted as identical to original source. Tough call. D3 has microgaps or some type of minor editing...d3 is only 3 tracks, so perhaps you shouldnt be deterred. Please only accept in trade with understanding of above.
23-Aug-78 New York City, NY MSG Night Three 3 Tradeable
25-Aug-78 New Haven, CT Veterans Memorial Stadium 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) nice sounding cd. Has occasional drop outs and flaws (sometimes extended, e.g. d1t3 02:40-02:52), still a fantastic cd as long as you are aware of the flaws. Last track is missing , this is Quarter To Three.
26-Aug-78 Providence, RI Civic Center 3 Tradeable
31-Aug-78 Cleveland, OH The Encores  (Bruce shows up and does encores with SSJ) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) pretty cool cd, only 3 songs + 2 fillers of Southside Johnny. Quality is real good, but an occasional flaw (well worth having nevertheless). Cool  bruce patented scream on t1 07:46.
1-Sep-78 Detroit, MI Lost In The Detroit Flood 3 Tradeable
3-Sep-78 Saginaw, MI Killers In The Sun 3 Tradeable what a great cd !!! Performance and sound is awesome. What is with that dude yelling "summertime blues " ?.This is just a good fun show. (10/22/02)
5-Sep-78 Columbus, OH Veterans Auditorium 2 Trade Warning according to brucebase, incomplete set list.  my cd does not have the last 3 songs that brucebase lists. My cd is missing, " BORN TO RUN / BECAUSE THE NIGHT / QUARTER TO THREE".  brucebase also said, " Audience tape - Incomplete setlist - Last Summertime Blues for the tour. Review in local paper has Quarter To Three as last song." Joosse.org lists same set list as above, w/out Quarter to Three.
6-Sep-78 Chicago, IL Uptown Fire 3 Tradeable excellent show
9-Sep-78 South Bend, IN The Hunchback Of E Street 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) analysed fine (10/20/02). The show is a really good performance. Sound varies from great to faltering for a few seconds on a rare occasion. All in all, a decent cd and if you are looking for this date, why not. You may eventually be able to upgrade it, but i suspect this cd will be in my catalog without replacement. Here are the flaws. d1t8 cut off at 08:59 (brucebase confirms the cut), D1t9, silence at 04:17-04:20, D2t3 04:05 quick flaw, d2t7, quick gap at 10:29.  This is the first performance of "Double Shot of My Baby's Love" and "louie , Louie". He mentioned John Belushi, was at Notre Dame and I guess the show is influenced by Animal House.
10-Sep-78 Cincinnati, OH Riverfront Coliseum 2 Not Tradeable setlist does not seem to match any sources, hence I think not tradeable. Here is set list I have: 1.  Badlands, 2. Streets of fire, 3. Independence day, 4. Promised land, 5. Racing in the streets, 6. Thunder road, 7. Meeting across the river, 8. Because the night, 9. Kittys Back, 10. Not Fade away/she's the one, 11. backstreets, 12. Rosalita.  I asked trader on 3/29/04 , and perhaps could report differently.
12-Sep-78 Syracuse, NY Syracuse Darkness 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) very tradeable cd.  There are slight microblemishes in several areas. Yet, this is probably as near perfect as you would get this show ( I do not guarantee that :-)
13-Sep-78 Springfield, MA Civic Centre 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) Extremely high energy show. I don’t' recall hearing such fan reactions to a 1978 show. Singing with bruce, yelling "bruce" etc. There are a few ruff edits and quality is often far from perfect. Spirit in The Night was awesome.  Flaw at d1t9 02:44, D2T8 04:50-05:15 serious clicks and Rosie is cut. I do not know if above is inherent. For the collector searching for shows, this is a good one. For the newer collector, you should choose other shows before this one, only because of the flaws and occasional quality difficulties (yet, all in all a great sounding show.
15-Sep-78 New York City, NY Palladium 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) really nice show.  It is good sound , not great. Analyser showed a classic mp3 signature, yet I could hear no evidence of mp3, such as no microclicks, hiccups and seamed transitions. Occassional tape stops.  Brucebase does not indicate last song being Quarter To Three, yet Joose site does, transition sounded proper as well.  Hence , take at own risk, with knowledge of above. I cant guarantee no microclics, but my old ears couldnt detect any.  this is a fantastic show, with great filler. First filler is Vince Scelsa with a backstage  at the Palldium . I dont know origin of other filler, but some real nice stuff. the promise and others.
16-Sep-78 New York City, NY Palladium 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) really cool show, fairly rare I believe. A few ruff edits. Gap on D2T7 at 11:09 - 11:14. Tape source seems to change on last track.
17-Sep-78 New York City, NY Someday, We'll Look Back On This…. 3 Tradeable
19-Sep-78 Passaic, NJ DVD: Piece De Resistance 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) I do not have a dvd burner, hence I cant burn for you, sorry. I also do not know how to judge video quality, hence no comment as to whether this is proper or not. My understanding is that this is the entire show and the best source available.
19-Sep-78 Capital Theatre, NJ Passaic Night 3 Tradeable excellent, sound, performance, bonus tracks. A classic boot, fun kittys back
19-Sep-78 Passaic, NJ Piece De Resistance 3 Tradeable Great sounding boot.set list matches brucebase, yet discs on each track is slightly different.
20-Sep-78 Passaic, NJ Capitol Soundcheck  (Follow That Dream) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair quality at best, but a fun cd to have and a great historic perspective. " The Ties That Bind " , is an early slow version. The first 2 tracks do not follow brucebase setlist, but starting with T3, you get the complete soundcheck. T1 is Hungry Heart (with full audience, hence not a rehearsal, and i dont think the song was even written before 1980 and t2 is "Wedding Bells". T3 starts off the documented set list with "Wedding Bells" (again). The times do differ from brucebase, but all songs are there. During the sound check you can hear girls talking in a room of some sort, freaking when a cool song is played. You can hear horns honking, so i guess the soundcheck was near a street of some type. Lots of cuts on this between tracks, probably from taper. Mp3 analyser showed 22000 with no drops, which is an indication that all is cool. I ask that you understand the quality is not great and take as is in trade. If you are a serious collector, this is a nice cd to have.
20-Sep-78 Passaic, NJ Second Night At The Capital Theater 2 Tradeable
21-Sep-78 Capitol Theatre, NJ Boss's Birthday Party 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) slight gaps on d1 t2 and t3 (real quick gaps), happened again on d3 ( I forget which track). This is very tradeable , unless someone is looking for a pure flawless cd. The total amount of flaws is probably under 1 second in total and it happens 4 times (yet, still under 1 second for all the problems)
29-Sep-78 Birmingham, AL Alabama Slammer 3 Tradeable
30-Sep-78 Atlanta, GA Same Old Played Out Scenes 3 Tradeable
1-Oct-78 Atlanta, GA The Fox Theater 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) fari to good sound. Set list agrees with joose  last track, jungleland is cut. Incomplete show per brucebase. Brucebase has reconstructed a notional set list and thinks the missing songs are "incident", "Rosie", "1/4 to 3". My cds are missing these songs.  great show for completist only.
1-Nov-78 Princeton, NJ Jadwin Gymnasium 3 Tradeable
2-Nov-78 Landover, MD Quarter To Three 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) brucebase indicates a few flaws. This cd has a slight hum , which was slightly evident at times on my car stereo. I am particular in hating humms or electronic distortion, but this in know way irritated me.The hum sounds almost like original source and the show is quite listenable. D2t4 has a nice Huh !! At 00:43, screaming guitar during Candy's Room.  Nothing wrong with owning this cd IMO.
7-Nov-78 Ithaca, NY Barton Hall 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) fairly poor sound. Incomplete setlist. Brucebase indicates set list is incomplete. My cd has same set list as brucebase, yet missing Backstreets and Rosie.
8-Nov-78 Montreal, CN Forum 3 Tradeable
10-Nov-78 Olean, NY St. Boneventure University 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) this is a fun show, with some good audience chatter. Dude singing Louie Louie was funny.  Tape does garble at points and this is identified at brucebase. Last track is Quarter to 3, it had some clicks on it.
12-Nov-78 Troy, NY Rensselear  Poly Tech 3 Tradeable I really enjoyed this show. It is not the boot "Live In Troy ". I got this from the excellent OTW and if you listen to d2t1 you will hear him and his friends requesting Rave On, of which Bruce gave it a shot (otw is heard way in the background as he moved away from the mics towards center aisle).  this is a good show to have, recognizing that there may be better versions out there, or as i suspect, this is one awesome version. accept in trade only if you are cool with above
14-Nov-78 Utica, NY Rave On In Utica 3 Tradeable I liked this show a lot. A few poor edits, but a great  show that I have not seen on many lists.
16-Nov-78 Toronto, CN Maple Leaf Gardens 2 Trade Warning analysed with classic mp3 sig. Many microclicks , but not on every track. Muddled sound , yet complete setlist. I will trade this with Completists only. If I could ever get an upgrade, this seemed like a fun show. Opened with " Reddy Teddy".
20-Nov-78 Champaign, IL University Of Illinois - Assembly Hall 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) fairly decent show. Occasional sound glitches. Distortion occurs throughout Jungleland and during Gloria on d2t7 from 11:20 - 12:40. Take in trade with knowledge of above.
21-Nov-78 Evanston, IL Northwestern University 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) Really cool set. AUD recording. Fairly good sound for a rarer boot. Not A+ sound, but worth having for the serious collector.
25-Nov-78 St. Louis, MO Kiel Opera House 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) analyzer showed a steep drop at 18000. I don’t notice any microclicks or microgaps. Another good trader friend of mine concurred. I am sensing this is not an mp3 show, yet the quaility is G to VG-.  Please accept as is. I actually like the performance on this show, quite solid. good show to have when you are looking for less of the mainstream.
27-Nov-78 Milwaukee, WI Arena 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) quality is fair to poor.  My cd is missing "Racing in The Street", brucebase and killing floor have it listed, yet they mention that audience tape is incomplete.  Joosse.org artwork is same as my set list.
28-Nov-78 Madison, WI Dane County Coliseum 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) quality is fair to poor. quality degrades on 2nd set.   Here is what brucebase said about quality, " Incomplete audience tape - sound worsens in second set. "  There were several microclicks on d2.  i did not test for mp3, yet , trader i got from did and did not think it was mp3. take at own risk.
29-Nov-78 St. Paul, MN   3 Tradeable ( see comments ) brucebase and killing floor list a slightly different set list than I have. Jooose.org lists the same set list as the show I have. Hence, cd is suspect.  Songs that are missing are Badlands, Point Blank and She's the One. The show I have has "I get Mad" , yet no Mona. I guess this cd would be a decent choice for completists only.  There is an audience member who is so freaking obnoxious during the entire show. He is constantly cursing and yelling for people to sit down. He now (8/03) probably yells at people to stand up. Interesting, he sure missed some of the power of Prove it all night and Fire.
1-Dec-78 Norman, OK University of Oklahoma 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) very fun show, fair to good sound, occasional slight flaws. Excellent choice for a completist looking for shows. Brucebase and Killing Floor list "Detroit Medley " as 2nd to last song. Joose on his artwork page does not include "Detroit Medley". My Cd does not have "Detroit Medley".
3-Dec-78 Carbondale, IL Southern Illinois University 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) disc sounds good to fair, my recollection is this is AUD, but the rarity makes it fun for me to have (my understanding is that this a rare cd). Frequencies are at 16000, which could mean an MP3 sourced disc.  I have also been told that FM source shows will not show frequencies > 16000, but ultimately , I am not knowledgable enough on the subject. Please only accept in trade with knowledge of above
8-Dec-78 Houston, TX The Summit 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) analyser did not show mp3, yet microclicks between many tracks. Cd is missing Backstreets. Please take only with understanding of above.  Not a real good sounding show.
13-Dec-78 Tuscon, AZ Community Centre 3 Trade Warning classic mp3 signature. Yet I did not detect clicks or mp3 audio giveaways. Show sound is fair only, yet fun. A bunch of minor flaws, cuts, etc. take at own risk.
15-Dec-78 San Francisco, CA Winterland Night 3 Tradeable
15-Dec-78 San Francisco, CA Winterland Night (Prodigal Son 2004 Remaster) 3 Tradeable awesome upgrade. This is possibly the number 1 must have of bruce. Another would be 2/5/75 and of course piece de resistance.
16-Dec-78 San Francisco, CA A Night In Heaven 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) inherent slight flaws. Nothing specific.  Cover art states " tape was cut and damaged. Spliced together to preserve track. That is on prove it all night. This is not a perfect cd, but sure is an excellent show, and the sound is pretty excellent as well.
19-Dec-78 Portland, OR Paramount Night 3 Tradeable
20-Dec-78 Seattle, WA Pretty Flamingo 3 Tradeable
27-Dec-78 Pittsburgh, PA Stanley Theater 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) not the best of quality, but a great "fever" and performance.
28-Dec-78 Pittsburgh, PA Stanley Theater 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) This is a good recording, not great. Yet, performance is so awesome. Hearing the fans near the taper was cool too.  I kept thinking as i listened to this June 2004 that that the performance was great, then bruce mentioned how great the venue and crowd was.  great show.  this is what trader i got from wrote (looks like much is from brucebase) : " NOTE: FIRST KNOWN VERSION OF RAMROD WHICH IS A DIFFERENT ARRANGEMENT TO ALL LATER VERSIONS. FIRST KNOWN VERSION OF RAMROD TO OPEN THE SHOW WHICH IS A DIFFERENT ARRANGEMENT TO ALL LATER VERSIONS. SOUND IS AVERAGE (SOME TAPE HISS, A LITTLE MUDDY) ALL BETWEEN SONG STORIES/TALKING HAVE BEEN EDITED OUT BY OTHERS MOST TRACKS END OR ARE PRECEDED BY A WELL DONE FADE. DISC ONE: TRACK 4 HAS A NOISE GLITCH @ :15 (SOURCE CHANGE?) TRACK 9 HAS AN EDIT @ 7:09 THAT OMITS 95% OF THE SAX SOLO FROM "PROVE IT ALL NIGHT". FADE OUT BETWEEN TRACKS 9-10, NO MUSIC AFFECTED. TRACK 10 HAS STATIC FROM :18-:19, :32-:33,5:29-5:30, 6:49. SMALL FADE FROM TRACKS 10-11, NO MUSIC AFFECTED. TRACK 11 HAS STATIC FROM 2:38-2:41. TRACK 12 HAS A BURST OF STATIC @ :27, 9:02. DISC TWO: BAD EDIT FROM TRACKS 1-2, JUST THE VERY TAIL END OF "SAINT" WAS CUT OFF BY OTHERS. TRACK 3 "THE FEVER" FADES OUT @ 7:08, TRACK 4" ,FIRE" CUTS IN +/- 1/3 WAY THROUGH. TRACK 6 HAS A STATIC BURST @ 1:36. TRACK 7 FADES OUT @ 8:01, NOT MUCH IS MISSED. TRACK 8 HAS STATIC @ 7:03. TRACK 8 GOES BLANK FROM 10:31-10:35, SOME OF "BACKSTREETS" IS EDITED OUT. TRACK 9 HAS STATIC @ 10:32. DISC THREE: TRACK 1 HAS AN EDIT @:11, FIRST FEW SECONDS OF "BORN TO RUN" HAVE BEEN OMITTED BY OTHERS. THIS RECORDING IS NOT AN MP3 SOURCE PER EAC AUDIO ANALYSIS."
31-Dec-78 Cleveland, OH The Firecracker Show 3 Tradeable
1-Jan-79 Cleveland, OH Richfield Colliseum 3 Tradeable The performance on this cd is awesome. It is an AUD recording and the dudes near the taper were saying "bruuuuuce". I actually enjoyed hearing them yell :-). This is a nice version of this show. I had bad versions and to me the upgrade is awesome. D3 is one of the best sets i can remember hearing. The sound is not the best ever, but certainly decent enough. IMO a must have show.
14-Mar-79 Asbury Park, NJ The Fast Lane 1 Trade Warning mp3 sourced per analyser. This disc, starts with "Fire" and then "Heartbreak Hotel". This is contrary to brucebase and killing floor which has visa versa.
23-Sep-79 New York City, NY Madison Square Garden 2 Tradeable
6-Oct-79 Asbury Park, NJ The Fast Lane 1 Trade Warning classic mp3 sig on analyser, yet no micro clicks. Cool show.
1-Sep-80 Lititz, PA Warming Up The River Tour 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) cool story you could read at brucebase about the cd. Fair quality. Small, minor , assorted flaws. Not sure if inherent or not. Very interesting cd.
3-Oct-80 Ann Arbor, MI The River Tour Opening Night 3 Tradeable
4-Oct-80 Cincinnati, OH Riverfront '80 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) nice show,     analyser was mp3 suspect with classic drop at 19k, not 16k.  I believe that
6-Oct-80 Cleveland, OH Richfield Colliseum 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) some tape edits. Looked okay on mp3 analsyser. Static on d1t2 00:39 -00:47
7-Oct-80 Cleveland, OH Cleveland 2nd Night 3 Tradeable fairly cool show, good quality.
9-Oct-80 Detroit, MI Cobo Hall 3 Tradeable great show.
10-Oct-80 Chicago, IL Uptown Theater 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) missing last track " Raise Your Hand", this is listed on Brucebase and Killing Floor
11-Oct-80 Chicago, IL Uptown Chicago 1980 2nd Night (Uptown Theatre) 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) microgaps, take in trade at own risk, tested fine for waveform in not being an mp3, but Im not sure about microclicks.
13-Oct-80 St. Paul, MN Civic Center 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) various quality.  Set list doesn’t follow brucebase or killing floor, but does follow joose. Sounds like lots of ruff edits possible splicing, hence I cant verify purity of date. Cant imagine that he would play Ramrod twice. My guess is that this show is not authentic.  Set list is disc 1:
Born To Run
Prove It All Night
10th Avenue Freeze Out
Darkness On The edge Of Town
Independence Day
Factory
Jackson Cage
The Promised Land
Out In The Street
Racing In The Street

Cadillac Ranch
Fire

I Wanna Marry You
For You
The Ties That Bind
Wreck On The Highway

Crush On You
Ramrod
disc 3:
You Can Look
Because The Night
Stolen Car
Backstreets
Rosalita
Jungleland
14-Oct-80 Milwaukee, WI Milwaukee Arena (AUD) 3 Tradeable
17-Oct-80 St. Louis, MO Keil Opera House 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) trader notes as follows : " THIS RECORDING IS NOT AN MP3 SOURCE PER EAC AUDIO ANALYSIS. SOUND IS AVERAGE+/GOOD-. DISC ONE: TRACK 1 "BORN TO RUN" HAS MINOR BURNER ERROR STATIC FROM 4:19-4:25. DISC TWO: BAD EDIT FROM TRACKS 1-2 (INTERMISSION),

NO MUSIC AFFECTED. DISC THREE: CLEAN."
18-Oct-80 St. Louis, MO At The Opera House 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) inherent flaws per brucelegs. Slight static at d3t7 01:29 - 01:32, gaps after d3t6 but those are from other shows, otherwise this is a perfect disc. Again, only problems are from bonus tracks.
24-Oct-80 Seattle, WA Seattle ' 80 ( The Coliseum) 3 Not Tradeable mp3 classic sig at 18k, not 16k. Bad edits, but I couldn’t hear microclicks.  Setlists include "Cadillac Ranch" ," Wreck on The Highway", ""Ties That Bind" and "Raise Your  Hand", this cd did not have those songs.  "Thunder Road" is severly flawed.  Cd has "Point Blank" after "I Wanna Marry You (IWMY)" , where as  brucebase and Killing Floor list "Ties That Bind". Filler at end of cd sounds like Robert Gordon and Bruce and one other. Had it not been for setlist situation, I would have accepted this as possibly okay. But, until better info comes along, I will have to list as untradeable.
25-Oct-80 Portland, OR The Mountain (Bruce Tree Service Vol 9) 3 Not Tradeable clicks b/w tracks and classic signature (june 27, 2005)
27-Oct-80 Oakland, CA Oakland 1st Night ( The Coliseum) 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) decent quality, fun show, bruce in fun mood.  Last song is missing "I'm  A Rocker"
28-Oct-80 Oakland, CA Oakland Coliseum '80 Last Night 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair recording only, mp3 analysed okay, missing track "The Promised Land", this track is listed on brucebase and killing floor, yet on joosse site, it is missing and agrees with my cd.
31-Oct-80 Los Angeles, CA LA Sports Arena, 2nd Night 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) fun show, fair sound.  Lots of fun stuff for Halloween.  Unusual set list, to say the least.  CD is missing "Growing Up".  As of 6/17/05 much of the setlist is not complete per brucebase.  Brucebase mentions incomplete nature, and that they are not aware of a complete audience tape.  Killing floor lists a greater set list.  Mine is same as brucebase and missing "growing Up"
1-Nov-80 Los Angeles, CA Prove It All Night 3 Trade Warning fairly nice sound for AUD and older cd.  Song "Point Blank" is missing.  This according to all sources should be on the cd.  Fun audience member comments on d1t12 at 6:49, "31 years old and still doing this".  D2t1 has real ruff beginning for about a minute.  audience singing of hungry heart affected.  fun appearance by Jackson Browne on Sweet Little 16.
5-Nov-80 Tempe, AZ Arizona State University 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) slight gaps on D2, sometimes between songs. Still a good show w/good quality, long show
8-Nov-80 Dallas, TX Yellow Rose Of Texas 3 pending my review
9-Nov-80 Austin, TX University of Texas 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) sound is fair to poor, yet cooleness of Yellow Rose of Texas,  and A Brief Waltz Across Texas is rather intense. lots of flaws. trader notes as follows : " NOTES: CONCERT AGAIN FEATURES THE INSTRUMENTAL YELLOW ROSE.. AND A BRIEF WALTZ ACROSS TEXAS IN THE DETROIT MEDLEY. THIS IS NOT AN MP3 SOURCE PER EAC AUDIO ANALYSIS. SOUND IS AVERAGE+ (VOCALS/INSTRUMENTS ARE CLEAR BUT RECORDING SUFFERS FROM HIGH TAPE HISS AND LOW RECORDING LEVEL). DISC ONE: TRACK 4 IS BLANK FROM :19-:22, NO MUSIC AFFECTED. TRACK 10 "OUT IN THE STREET" CUTS OFF @ 4:16. DISC TWO: TRACK 3 HAS A GAP FROM :43-:46, NO MUSIC AFFECTED. BAD EDIT FROM TRACKS 5-6 WHICH RESULTS IN "CANDY'S ROOM" BEING OMITTED, MAKING THIS RECORDING INCOMPLETE. TRACK 6 "BECAUSE THE NIGHT" HAS AN EDIT @ 1:00. DISC THREE: TRACK 1 "DRIVE ALL NIGHT"

HAS A GAP FROM 8:09-8:15. ROUGH EDIT FROM TRACKS 1-2, NO MUSIC AFFECTED. TRACK 7 "DETROIT MEDLEY "CUTS @ 11:04 DURING THE OUTRO "DEVIL WITH A BLUE DRESS"."

11-Nov-80 Baton Rouge, LA Louisiana State University (AUD) 3 Tradeable
15-Nov-80 Houston, TX The Summit 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair to good sound., excellent performance, fun show. Great pick for the completist, but not for the beginner.
20-Nov-80 Chicago, IL Wreck On The Highway 3 pending my review
23-Nov-80 Landover, MD The Price You Pay In Largo ( Capital Centre) 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) this show agrees with Joosse site, yet it doesn’t agree with brucebase or killing floor..  The tracks that are missing are "Cadillac Ranch", "Hungry Heart", "Rosalita" and "I'm A Rocker".
24-Nov-80 Largo, MD Capital Centre 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) This cd is flawed at several points. I am still listing it as tradeable, as the show is so excellent. The flaws are many, yet never severe. Nothing wrong with owning this cd, as long as you are aware of the flaws and understand that it is not a perfect cd. Sometimes the flaws sound as though they are from the original taper, yet hard to tell. This is definitely NOT an mp3. The performance is high powered and the sound is generally excellent. Here are the flaws : slight distortion D1T8 1:30 - 1:44, D2T1 slight jumbling 1:40-2:15, sloght tics D2T3 1:00 - 1:05, tape edit D2T4/5, some energetic fansand cool reactions at D2T6 03:00 (not a flaw, just cool for me), slight gap D2T10 04:48 and edit to T11, D3T2 0:30 quick flaw, D3T5 4:08 quick gap, edit at end of D3T5. quick flaw at D3T6 01:05.  Again, many of these flaws could be from taper.
24-Nov-80 Largo, MD DVD: Largo  4 Tradeable ( see comments ) I don't review DVD's. I dont have the understanding of how to review, nor do I have any means of copying shows.    The show is on four DVDs as it was recorded in the HQ/XP mode. It is close to first generation. It is the best generation of this show I have ever seen. It is in color and the quality is even better than the 3-DVD set of the 1978 Largo show that has been out.
This is a fabulous show from the River Tour. It is pro shot.
Here are some comments on this four-DVD set from a top collector:

Source for this DVD is a first generation tape, so possibly the best quality recording of this classic show we are likely to ever see. This is definitely an upgrade. While there is still a small amount of generation loss due to the poor quality of the master recording, the improvement is obvious. Color accuracy is much improved (check out Bruce's blue jacket) and the picture is far cleaner and sharper. I think the extra quality is most noticable during brighter scenes (Sherry Darling, Detroit Medley etc) where you can actually see the crowd. Recorded in XP mode on 4 DVDs for extra fidelity.
Review: Well, what can I say? An essential show.

Here's how the setlist is divided up on the four discs:

Disc One:
Prove It All Night
Two Hearts
10th Avenue Freeze Out
You Can Look
Darkness On the Edge of Town
Independence Day
Factory
Jackson Cage
Out In the Street

The River
Badlands
Thunder Road
Cadillac Ranch
Sherry Darlin'
Hungry Heart
Fire
Because The Night

Wreck On the Highway
Point Blank
The Ties That Bind
Crush On Your
Ramrod
Backstreets

Disc Four:
Rosalita

Born To Run
Detroit Medley

Lonesome Train is included in the Detroit Medley for the first time.

24-Nov-80 Largo, MD VCD: The Ties That Bind 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) I do not review VCD's. accept at own risk. If damaged or not satisfied , I will replace with a substitute.
27-Nov-80 New York City, NY Madison Square Garden '80 First Night 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) decent sound, excellent show, a bunch of flaws, yet for the completist this is a great selection. Some of the flaws are spaces, cut songs, silence. Yet, again, a nice cd. Some flaws I noticed were during "Darkness", "You Can Look" and "price you pay". some ruff edits throughout as well.
28-Nov-80 New York City, NY The River At The Garden 3 Tradeable nice show, fair sound. I think this is a rarer cd, and not bad sound for a rarer issue. My cover art doesn't match set list, yet I verified set list with Brucebase.
30-Nov-80 Pittsburgh, PA Civic Centre Pittsburgh 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) d1t9  Splice @ 1:21 tape switch , d2t2 Tape switch, already in progress d2t9 Splice @ 4:10 tape switch, d3t5  Splice @ 2:48 tape switch/Dropout cut @11:15 , d3t6 About 1.5 second dropout at the end cut out .  dont let those immaterial errors sway you, this is an excellent show for an unboot, pretty good sound. nearly a must have.
1-Dec-80 Pittsburgh, PA Civic Center 3 pending my review
2-Dec-80 Rochester, NY Rochester '80 ( The War Memorial ) 3 Tradeable
4-Dec-80 Buffalo, NY The Buffalo River 3 Tradeable
6-Dec-80 Philadelphia, PA Philadelphia '80 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) sound is good - with some poor sections. Just a bad sounding cd. BTR is d1t1 and starts near the end of the song. Santa Clause is between Rosalita and Jungleland. Cover art, Brucebase and Killing Floor do not show Santa being played that night, although all other tracks match.
8-Dec-80 Philadelphia, PA Ready, Willing and Able 3 Trade Warning frequency analysis showed a severe drop at 18000. The cd doesn’t seem to have severe microclicks, and sometimes no microclicks or microgaps. But I did hear enough to determine that this cd is possibly , not definitely an mp3. I have not listened to the cd, hence if you want it, please take as is, and if you are not an experienced trader, I will not include this in a trade. I should probably list this show as untradeable, but if someone really wants it and is experienced, I would probably trade for it.
9-Dec-80 Philadelphia, PA A Hard Night To Play 4 Tradeable excellent show with excellent sound. Historic night as it was the day after John Lennon was killed. He talks about it and finished the night with Twist And Shout.
11-Dec-80 Providence, RI Civic Center 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) according to cover art d3t7 should be Detroit Medley. It is missing on this cd. If you check brucebase and killing floor you will see that Detroit Medley is listed. If you check Joosse, you will see it missing. Otherwise a fine cd, other than a few rough edits on D3.
12-Dec-80 Hartford, CT Harford Civic Center 3 pending my review poor quality (3), per trader
15-Dec-80 Boston , MA Catch That Train 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) really nice show, yet occasional quick noise problems. This is a good cd for completists, if you are not looking for perfect quality.  Occurs on d1t12 0:03,1:44, 2:14, 5:09 and 5:12, d3t9 9:50
16-Dec-80 Boston , MA Boston Gardens Second Night 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair to good quality. Great show. Nice song selection , a few minor flaws. Great selection for completist.
18-Dec-80 New York City, NY Kiss Me, It's Almost Christmas 3 Tradeable cool show, some ruff cuts. Fair to good sound, not excellent quality, yet a fine cd to own.
19-Dec-80 New York City, NY An Evening At MSG 3 Tradeable This is a great cd. Performance IMO was awesome.
28-Dec-80 Uniondale, NY The Other Night 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) small gaps, disc1.. Track..11..1:50-1:52, disc2..trac08..3:48-3:49,track11..2:28-2:28
29-Dec-80 Uniondale, NY Colliseum Night 3 Tradeable fantastic show and sound. Great River boot to have or to give as gift.
31-Dec-80 Uniondale, NY Nassau Night 3 Tradeable
20-Jan-81 Ontario, Canada Deep Down in The Glove Compartment 2 Tradeable excellent show and cd.
23-Jan-81 Montreal, CN The Forum 3 Tradeable
26-Jan-81 South Bend, IN Double Shot In South Bend 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) a few ruff edits. Nothing horrendous. Cd is worth having for experienced collector, nice show !
28-Jan-81 St. Louis, MO Headin' South         (AUD) 3 Tradeable
29-Jan-81 Ames, IO Hilton Colliseum 3 Not Tradeable classic mp3 signature with very slight microclicks.
2-Feb-81 Madison, WI Dane County Coliseum 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) The quality on this cd is quite suspect. Most of the time it sounds fine, there are just a lot of flaws. I think some of the flaws have been inserted as space to cover up anything else.. The analyser showed a classic mp3 signature. I didn't hear microclicks, so I really don't know if this is an mp3 sourced disc or not. I wouldn't be surprised if the clicks were ever edited out, but i dont know, so take at your own risk. Here are the flaws I found: D1T6 pop at 0:41, D1T8/9 bad edit, D!T14 gap 01:14- 01:21, D1T15 cuts at 4:28 yet song continues on D2T1, D2T1 pop at 00:05, D2T3/3 bad edit, D2T5 noise and gap from 03:55 - 04:14, then again at 04:35 - 04:52, D2T8 has  bumps and such at 02:05 - 02:20.   Hence, if you are looking for this date, and understand the quality issues and potential of an mp3 sourced disc, then it theoretically is a decent pick. Only recommended for diehards who are running out of shows to receive in trade :-)
5-Feb-81 Kansas City, MO Convicted and Sentanced 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) real nice show. Sound is good. Seams between tracks, but not clicks or anything. Does not seem like an mp3. Analyser was fine.
7-Feb-81 Champaign, IL University Of Illinois 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) Unless you are really looking for this date, you should consider another cd. I am glad I have the cd, as I like to collect as many of the older shows as possible.  This passed the mp3 frequency analyser test. Some tape garble. Fair to good recording, occasionally muddled. Some ruff edits and quality changes.  Again, this is for the serious collector only. If you are a newer collector, there is many shows you should have before this one.
12-Feb-81 Mobile, AL Municipal Auditorium 3 Pending my review
13-Feb-81 Starkville, MI Starkville Mississippi 3 Tradeable pretty awesome filler at the end. One is "the promised land" with Jackson browne.
15-Feb-81 Lakeland, FL Which Way To Disneyland vol 2 3 Pending my review
16-Feb-81 Lakeland, FL Civic Center 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) d1t10/t11 are Promised Land on two tracks (not duplicated, just takes up 2 tracks). This matches set list from Brucebase, but doesn’t match cover art on "Which Way to Disneyland". One reason is because of Promised Land mentioned above and Also The River is between Racing In The Streets and Badlands.  good show,...good quality. This is a nice cd to own for the experienced collector looking for shows.
18-Feb-81 Jacksonville, FL Live At Jacksonville Civic Center 2 Tradeable
20-Feb-81 Hollywood, FL Sportatorium 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) poor to fair sound. This cd should only be taken by completists. A firecracker incident on D1T4, where Bruce shows his distaste for such events. I reviewed this on 3/21/03 (during initial phases of Iraq War) and it was interesting to hear Bruce discuss that concertgoers have the right to watch a concert in safety.  D1t9 has to songs on it, hence the songs are in order , just that Thunder Road and Price You Pay, occupy one track.
22-Feb-81 Columbia, SC South Carolina Coliseum 3 Trade Warning classic mp3 sigature at 16k.  The cd does have an occasional microclick, end of d1, tail end of d2. The performance is nice and the sound is good, until d3 where the sound falters.
23-Feb-81 Atlanta, GA Atlanta '81 ( The Omni ) 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) analyser showed a near classic drop at 19k, not 16k.  I did not hear suspects of mp3. Sound is fair to good. Show was fun. A few cuts and splices, including d1t1 which is "Prove It All Night", which starts in middle.
28-Feb-81 Greensboro, SC Driving The Greensboro County Line 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) Intermittent quality changes throughout. Yet a fun show. Sound is decent and a few ruff edits, slight static on d1t11. Brucebase confirms that Twist and Shout is missing from the audience tape (and its of course not on my cd either). Brucebase discusses how Bruce and the Band came out after changing clothes and showering and then performed Twist and Shout.
2-Mar-81 Hampton, VA Hampton '81 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) bunch of ruff edits, but an excellent show. Tape stretch sound during one short section of Two Hearts.
4-Mar-81 Lexington, KY Lexington ' 81 (Rupp Arena ) 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) this is one of the worst sounding shows on my list. I reviewed on april 11, 2003. Why would even completists want this show , it sounds so poor. Set list matches brucebase (big fucken deal, this cd sucks big time). Take only with knowledge of above.
5-Mar-81 Indianapolis, IN MARKET SQUARE ARENA   3 Trade Warning classic mp3 signature. Trade at your own risk. This cd has not been tested for flaws or setlist. No microclicks, yet ruff edits with seams. I suspect an mp3 because of the frequency analyser, but without clicks , I am not certain. This cd might be fine, just accept as is.
7-Apr-81 Hamburg, Germany Hamburg Remaster Congress Center 3 Pending my review set list appears to be different. Email sent to trader questioning this on 2/16/03. Seems that darkness and independence day missing. I didn’t lsten after that.
8-Apr-81 West Berlin , GE Twist and Shout ( I.C.C.) 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) rather ruff sound, but fairly cool cd.  The audience went wild after intended last song Rockin All over The World.  What is real awesome is to hear the audience scream for like 10 minutes, arena exit music playing, but they didn’t stop cheering, the band came back out and played "Twist and Shout". nevertheless, this cd should only be taken by completists who are stretching for new shows. other than the last section from a historical perspective, this show would basically suck because of the poorer sound.
11-Apr-81 Zurich , Switzerland Hallen Stadiun 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) brucebase does not list "Badlands", whereas Killing Floor does.  This CD has badlands.
14-Apr-81 Frankfurt, GE Frankfurt 81 (Festhalle) 2 Tradeable fair quality only.
16-Apr-81 Munich, GE The Ties That Bind ( Olympiahalle) 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) really nice show. Sound is generally good with several taper flaws. You can occasionally hear taper juggle the machine, no biggie and IMO adds character to the cd.  Analyser was a near classic mp3 waveform, yet I couldn't detect microclicks.  Promised Land cuts early . take at own risk, but imo a worthy cd.
18-Apr-81 Paris, France Saturday Night ( Palais de Sports) 2 Tradeable good sound, most excellent show and cdr.  First known performance of " I Can't Help Falling In Love" and the European debut of Candy's Room.
19-Apr-81 Paris, France THE RIVER RUNS THROUGH PARIS 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) various quallity.  I didn’t mp3 analyse, trader I got it from wave tested and said cool, but I wont guarantee.  An occasional microclick.  Fun show. Take at own risk.
21-Apr-81 Barcelona, Spain El Boss En Barcelona 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) flaw d1t4 04:30, wonderful Point Blank opening , yet flaw during Point Blank d2t4 04:44, then cut at end of song. Fair to good quality, yet fun performance.
24-Apr-81 Lyon, France Palais de Sport 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) nice cd, slight quality degredation on Backstreets on d2, other than that, the cd is cool.
26-Apr-81 Brussels, Belgium MOVIN ON TO BRUSSELS 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) a few ruff edits and quality changes occassionally, yet this is a decent show.  Ruff edits were d2t3, d2t6. D3t5 was cut at 11:35 and then comes back on next track with quality loss.
28-Apr-81 Rotterdam, Holland Ahoy Sportspalais 2 pending my review
29-Apr-81 Rotterdam, Holland Run Through The Jungle 3 Pending my review
2-May-81 Copenhagen, Denmark The River In Denmark 3
3-May-81 Gothenburg, SW A Long Way From The Boardwalk 3 Tradeable real nice recording. Frequencies maxed at 14000, but not with classic mp3 drop. I do not think this cd is mp3 sourced.
5-May-81 Oslo, Norway Drammenshallen Night 3 Tradeable
7-May-81 Stockholm, SW Ice Stadium 3 Pending my review
8-May-81 Stockholm, SW Teardrops On the City 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) d1t5 darkness fades out early, d3 has lots of what happens to be tape stops. The sound quality on this show is about average. It is an Audience recording. Please be familiar with this before accepting it in a trade.
11-May-81 New Castle , UK NewCastle ' 81 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) pretty good show, fairly good sound for a rarer boot. Audience
tape, you can occassionally hear one of the guys near the taper singing. It
was sometimes funny, and sometimes annoying, yet the cd is quite enjoyable.
The guy does not wreck the show.  High energy show and highly recommended
for the completist
13-May-81 Manchester, UK Apollo 3 Pending my review
14-May-81 Manchester, UK Short, Short Night At The Appolo 2 Tradeable nice sounding show.
16-May-81 Edinburgh, UK Playhouse 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) set list doesn’t match brucebase and killing floor. Yet , trader has cover and show does match cover art. Trader explained " I assume what you're thinking of is the inclusion of "Independence Day"?

This recording however also includes "Because The Night" after "Hungry
Heart", and no "Wreck On The Highway" which doesn't match May 14th. It also
matches perfectly the artwork for May 16th. I think it's just a mistake on
the setlist pages. This I have found to be very common.

I gave Javier your address, hope you don't mind. I have traded with him a
few times.

The noise between track is noted on my tradelist,
http://home.tiscali.no/pgarwood/. The frequencies seem ok, so I don't think
it's MP3."
17-May-81 Edinburgh, Scotland Rockin All Over Scotland 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) d1t9 flaw at 2:28 to 2:32 blank space, slight noise.  Brucebase lists macho man, whereas killing floor did not. My show does not have macho man.
26-May-81 Brighton, UK Conference Centre 2 Tradeable
27-May-81 Brighton, UK Conference Center 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) missing hungry heart, here is what brucebase says, " Audience Tape - Two versions circulate and one which has better sound quality is missing "Hungry Heart". Last "Price You Pay". Excellent versions of "Point Blank" and "Jungleland" (the first version of the European Tour)"
29-May-81 London, UK Wembley Arena 1st Night 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair sound at best, yet for a completist, why not. Sound is a little tape warped. Candy's Room is on this cd and Killing Floor lists it as suspect, brucebase does not list Candy's Room. According to Brucebase, Trapped was played for first time.
30-May-81 London, UK Wembley Arena 3 Tradeable ( see comments )  pretty good show for rarer River show. No micro gaps or micro clicks, yet analyser showed a classic drop at 18 k (not 16). Backstreets cut short. Some ruff cuts.
1-Jun-81 London, UK Wembley Arena 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) ex show, fair sound. A few ruff points, but nothing awful.  Very slight distortion on d2t2.
2-Jun-81 London, UK Wembley Arena 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair sound, a whooshing throughout.
04-Jun-81 London, UK Wembley 5th Night 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) showed okay on waveform, some microclicks and seams. Good show for completist.
5-Jun-81 London, UK Born To Be The Boss 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) sounds like it was recorded from an lp. I think the trader (who is an excellent one at that) recorded it off of his original. D1t2 has some unusual skipping. D2t4 and so on. The further I reviewed this show, I noticed many flaws. Please only request this cd if you are a serious date collector. I imagine there are probably better versions of this show. The performance didn't kill me, so I will leave this in my inventory as is. Please only accept in trade as is.
7-Jun-81 Birmingham, UK NEC Arena 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) not a perfect cd, some flaws, but really cool show.
8-Jun-81 Birmingham, UK For Those That Were There That Night 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) occasional flaws and some microglips b/w tracks, I tested for mp3 and seemed okay. 10/12/04
14-Jun-81 Hollywood, CA Survival Sunday No Nukes w/ Jackson Browne and Gary Bonds 1 Trade Warning some real cool versions, yahhh, I love it.  Not often that I remember hearing acoustic stuff in 1981.  Sound is fair and often poor, sounds like tape warble a little bit. Static on t2 through end, doesn’t sound like burner problem. I would love a good version of this cd.
2-Jul-81 E. Rutherford, NJ Bruce Opens The Meadowlands 2 Tradeable first show ever at the Meadowlands. Decent sound, the band seemed off on the first half, but then got rockin. Some ruff edits and each cd starts off with a tick at T1 0:00 (don’t let that stop you from getting this ).  I frequency analysed for mp3 and all seemed cool. Some ruff cuts on occassion between tracks (again, if you are looking for this date, go for it).Cover art indicates that these were made from Analog Tapes.  Brucebase verifies that last track on d2 is missing.
3-Jul-81 E. Rutherford, NJ This Land Is Your Land 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) imo a very tradeable show, high energy. Yet there are some strange tape edits between many tracks. I do not think this is mp3 sourced as I didn’t hear clicks (just edits that might have been taper stopping tape to save batteries, etc). slight skip on d1t9, 02:18-02:19. I ran through mp3 analsyser and frequencies seemed fine. this is worth having for traders that have many other titles..
05-Jul-81 E. Rutherford, NJ Meadowlands Night 3 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) passed mp3 waveform test, yet there are seams and clicks b/w most tracks. Sound is poor to fair. For completists only.
6-Jul-81 E. Rutherford, NJ Live From The Meadowlands 3 Trade Warning classic mp3 signature.  Theoretically , I guess it is possible that this is not mp3 sourced, but I do believe it is. I probably would not trade this to anyone other than a very experienced trader.
8-Jul-81 E. Rutherford, NJ Meadowlands Night 5 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) pretty cool show and nice sound , Cadillac Ranch is missing on either last track of d1 or 1st track of d2
9-Jul-81 E. Rutherford, NJ Front Row Center 3 Tradeable really fun show
11-Jul-81 Redbank, NJ Bruce with Estreet band members at Big Mans West (opening night) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) not the greatest sound, but certainly a cool cd.  Summertime blues rocks !!
15-Jul-81 Philadelphia, PA Spectrum Night 3 Tradeable
16-Jul-81 Philadelphia, PA Broad and Patterson 3 Tradeable a few ruff edits here and there, yet this cd is a pretty good sound and certainly a fun show.  This is an excellent pick as long as you realized it isnt polished like "Winterland" or such. Excellent pick for completists. I was shocked at how good the sound was when i listened to this on 5/3/03
18-Jul-81 Philadelphia, PA The Spectrum 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair to poor sound. Mp3 analysis looked okay, I didn’t hear microclicks.
19-Jul-81 Philadelphia, PA The Spectrum 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) actually a nice cd, first two songs have horrible sound. Quality ranges from good to fair. Ruff edits at times. I analyzed and analyser seemed fine. Some flaws throughout.
29-Jul-81 Cleveland, OH The Highway's Free To Cleveland 3 Tradeable fair sounding show, totally cool for a completist who one day might be able to upgrade. Mp3 analysis was cool (if that means anything), some ruff edits.
30-Jul-81 Cleveland, OH Richfield Colliseum 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) quality has intermittent changes in it. Possibly not all from same source.  Sometimes quality is quite nice and sometimes quality drops. Occassional microclicks. I tested a few tracks on waveform analysis d1t1 (which sounds nice) showed possible mp3 sig, but i am not convinced, d1t6 showed fine waveform.  With all this said, if you are looking for a rarer boot, understand quality issues and possibly (but i dont think so, mp3 sourced) then there is nothing wrong with this fun show. Southside Johnny shows up for "i dont wanna go home"
4-Aug-81 Washington, DC Hot 'N' Muggy : DC In August 3 Tradeable just awesome. One of my favorite shows. Excellent BTR
7-Aug-81 Largo, MD Capitol Centre 3 Pending my review still need to check.incomplete show, missing badlands d1t1. Didn’t finish reviewing. I don’t know if inherent as another trader had same issue.
11-Aug-81 Detroit, MI Joe Lewis Arena 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) great energy show. AUD with some cool audience stuff , one guy screams "play some skynyrd", another guy has the now infamous bruce orgasm.  Not a perfect cd as there is some slight flutter on d1t13 , d1t14 some static during "Who'll Stop The Rain ",and perhaps some others. Still a great show for the completist.
12-Aug-81 Detroit, MI SUMMER TOUR 81 DETROIT 1 Tradeable special guest, Mitch Ryder.
16-Aug-81 Denver, CO Red Rocks 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) great cd, soundcheck is fun (cover art lists 3 tracks for sound check, whereas this cd has 1 track of soundchecks, but all 3 songs are covered). Thunder Road cuts off on d2t4 at 3:30. Subsequently a trader wrote to me, hence I include it here " I think the copy you sent may be from mp3 source, the graphic when analyzed with Cool Edit is strange and there are clicks between songs.... I can't be sure though :-("
17-Aug-81 Denver, CO Red Rocks Stadium 3 Tradeable Includes sound check of "rave on"
20-Aug-81 Los Angeles, CA Written On The Wall 3 Tradeable disc 3 tracks 7 till end are poor quality. These are add-ons and not part of the unblemished excellent show. This is also described at Flynns site.
21-Aug-81 Los Angeles, CA Sports Arena 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) decent quality, some taping flaws, but certainly a nice show, for the collector that has amassed a collecition of all the nice quality shows. Some songs are cut, for example "ramrod"
23-Aug-81 Los Angeles, CA Sports Arena 3 Trade Warning this is a real tuff one to review. It was given as a freebie by a real generous person and the agreement for the freebie was a reoffer. I greatly appreciate the freebie and here are my notes.  Classic mp3 signature at 19k, not 16k on the waveform. Of course such a classic signature is not foolproof and potentially meaningless.  There are several microclicks on various tracks, although one has to listen incredibly closely to hear such clicks.  a few tape edits, no biggie.  cool performance, fair to good sound and a rare show. hence please only take in a trade with understanding of above, and only if you are a completist.
24-Aug-81 Los Angeles, CA I Don't Wanna Go Home 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) really great cd.  Soundboard recording.   Keep in mind that this cd is not complete, yet it follows the track listing to "I don't want to go home", completely.  Brucebase mentions the incomplete status, and as far as I know , this is all there is.  You need to read cover art of "I Don't Want to Go Home" to understand what i am writing.  Tom Waits on Jersey Girl is soooo cool. Ahh, now for the cd problems, d2t3 at 3 minutes or so, has clicks, no biggie, lasts for about 40 seconds, sucks its there, but other than that, this is one awesome show.
28-Aug-81 Los Angeles, CA Sports Arena 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) fun show. Rare songs  "Deportee" and " Proud Mary".  D1t9 cut (Who'll Stop the rain". Fair to good sound, some background hiss. Some ruff tape edits and flaws. Still, excellent show for completists.
2-Sep-81 San Diego, CA Sports Arena ( first 2 tracks missing) 3 Not Tradeable  fairly cool cd. Fair to good sound  Show is missing the first 2 tracks Starts with Out In The Street.  Mp3 analyser showed sharp drop at 21k, hence not the classic 16k drop, like that really means anything.  take with knowledge of above.  What made this show untradeable was the cd is also missing last 3 tracks, "BTR","Detroit medley" and "Quarter To Three".
10-Sep-81 Rosemont, IL Rosemont '81 3 Trade Warning tested fine on frequency analyser, yet there are microhiccups b/w tracks. I did not fully review, take at own risk
13-Sep-81 Cincinnati, OH Riverfront Stadium 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) mp3 analyser was fine, small microblips between tracks.
14-Sep-81 Cincinnati, OH Last Night on The River Tour 3 Trade Warning not a bad sounding show. Has microgaps between songs and occasionaly has a gap during a song (small and rare). I ran in cooledit and it had a sharp drop off right after 18000. The potential exists that this is an mp3 sourced show. I checked google and came up with nothing.
12-Jan-82 New Brunswick, NJ Royal Manor North w/ Nils Lofgren ( 2 SONGS) 1 Tradeable
11-Apr-82 Redbank, NJ Big Mans West With John Eddie  1 Tradeable
12-Jun-82 Redbank, NJ Big Man's West ( with Sonny Kern) 1 Tradeable fantastic.
12-Jun-82 New York, NY Rally for Disarmament 1 Tradeable first song is Jackson with what sounds like Gary US Bonds. T1 The Pretender, T2 The Promised Land, T3 Running on Empty.  Nice sound. Bruce is on tracks 2 and 3
25-Jul-82 Asbury Park, NJ with Cats on A Smooth Surface 1 Tradeable
8-Aug-82 Asbury Park, NJ Stone Pony With Cats On A Smooth Surface ( 1st 3 tracks missing) 1 Trade Warning a few flaws.  missing first 3 tracks which are, READY TEDDY / FROM SMALL THINGS / COME ON LET'S GO.  this cd has the following tracks, / COME ON OVER TO MY PLACE / AROUND AND AROUND / LUCILLE - ON THE PROWL / TWIST AND SHOUT.

With Cats - On The Prowl will later develop into Downbound Train
15-Aug-82 Asbury Park, NJ The Stone Pony 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) potential mp3 suspect via analyser, yet not classic sig and went to 18000 with a drop. I could not detect glips or audio hints of an mp3 sourced disc. Hence, take at your own risk.  Fairly good quality and fun effin show.
18-Sep-82 Redbank, NJ Big Mans West With Dave Edmunds 1 Tradeable
21-Sep-82 New York City, NY Peppermint Lounge (1 song only , with Dave Edmunds) 1 Tradeable
3-Oct-82 Asbury Park, NJ The Stone Pony 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) potential mp3 suspect via analyser, yet not classic sig and went to 18000 with a drop. I could not detect glips or audio hints of an mp3 sourced disc. Hence, take at your own risk.  Fairly good quality and fun effin show.
16-Jul-83 Neptune, NJ The Headliner with Midnight Thunder 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) excellent, fun show. Little bit of distortion during Sweet Little Sixteen, slight static during Louie Louie (around 01:00- 01: 02)
19-Aug-83 Long Branch, NJ Brighton Bar (w/John Eddie) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) fair to good quality, but pretty cool.  I have this all on one cd, and need to separate the t1-15, which are for this show
14-Jan-84 New Brunswick, NJ Patrix 1 Tradeable
8-Jun-84 Asbury Park, NJ Hot Jersey Nights Volume 1 (The Stone Pony) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) Varied quality, but what a fine, historic appearance. Glory Days was cool.
21-Jun-84 Lancaster, PA The Unplanned Gig 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) gaps between t9 - t12, yet this is not part of the gig, and this is a classic cd
29-Jun-84 St. Paul, MN Street Fighting Man (Civic Centre ) 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) not the best sounding show, but why not take it if you are a completist.  Waveform dropped (not classic) near 16000, but continued low level the rest of the way, no microglips or clicks. I don’t think its an mp3, but I wont guarantee it.
8-Jul-84 Cleveland, OH Richfield Colliseum 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) I wave tested disc and it was fine for mp3, yet a low waveform draggin on the bottom. Disc 2 and I think some of 3 has micro clicks, hence I don’t know if mp3 sourced or not.  Some fades and cuts on a few of the songs. TPL has tape garble. My Hometown has static towards middle to end of song (last track on disc 1). Fairly good recording and fun show for the completist, as long as you are aware of flaws and potential mp3 source.
12-Jul-84 Wisconsin Alpine Valley Night 3 Tradeable
13-Jul-84 East Troy, WI Summer of '84 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) really nice cd…good sound. There are two flaws (not major and not material) . D2t9 00:16 and d2t12 03:43 both have quick pops.
15-Jul-84 Chicago, IL Rosemont Horizon 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) nice sounding show , often seams between tracks (microglips). Frequency analyser did not show classic mp3 symptoms.
17-Jul-84 Chicago, IL Rosemont Horizon 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) brucebase omits " No Surrender", this cd has it, so does Killing Floor. Nice CD, except for some clicks from D2T3  01:27 thru end of song, clicks occur again on D2T4 from 0.00 - 0:15, further clicking on D2T4, slight clicks on D2T8.  I asked trader if same issue exists, waiting to hear.
18-Jul-84 Chicago, IL Rosemont Horizon 3 Not Tradeable set list does not even come close to set list that bruce base or killing floor has for this show.  Mine is a boot from the 84 era, but I could not match. Set list is  " Thunder Road/10th ave freeze out/ Out in the streets/ Atlantic City/ Open All Night / The River/ Prove IT all night/ Glory Days / Promised Land / Nebraska/ My Hometowh / BITUSA / Badlands / Cadillac Ranch / Hungry Heart / Dancin in the Dark/ Sherry Darlin/ NoSurrender/ Because The Night/ Pink Cadillac/ Fire/ bobby Jean/ Backstreets/ Rosie/ Im a Rocker/ Jungleland/ BTR/ Street Fighting Man/ Twist and Shout.  I did not test for quality or mp3 status.  Do you know what show this might be ?
23-Jul-84 Toronto, CN Canadian Surrender 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) real nice show. Sound is real good at times. Atlantic City has some silent gap, nothing horrible, especially for the completist, yet a few secs of silence. Some tape edits. This is a fun show for the completist as well as typical collector. Detroti Medley also cut in middle.
24-Jul-84 Toronto, CN CNE Grandstand 3 Tradeable pretty good sound and performance
26-Jul-84 Ontario, Canada Part of The Show 2 Tradeable really nice No Surrender.
27-Jul-84 Saratoga Springs, NY DVD: Hot Fun In the Summertime 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) I don’t trade dvds. I don’t  have a burner and don’t know how to judge quality. I think date is correct, I know name of show is correct.  The date of the show might be 7/26/84. I wont know till and if I watch it :-)
27-Jul-84 Saratoga Springs, NY Saratoga Springs Live 3 Trade Warning decent sounding show. This includes sound check at end of d3. Sound check is muddled.  Problem is setlist. Brucebase and killing floor list Thunder Road following BITUSA, yet, Hungry heart follows BITISA. No Surrender is missing as it should follow, Sherry Darling. Instead, TRoad follows Sherry Darling.  lastly d1t12 has skips on it, which is BITUSA.
27-Jul-84 Saratoga Springs, NY Saratoga Springs Sound Check 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) Trader lists as VG- and mentions potentially 2 different sources and cuts in some tracks.  I thought this was a nice historic retrospective. Only one song and agrees with brucebase, "who'll stop the rain"
30-Jul-84 Detroit, MI Boss Town Medley 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) real nice cd, great performance, some flaws, not many , great cd for completist or mid collector (ie > 100 shows)
31-Jul-84 Detroit, MI No Used Cars in Motor City 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) not a great sounding cd, yet not terrible either. True collectors most certainly should have this show. If you do a google search you will see that there are slight sound issues with this disc. D1T1 02:48 -02:50 skip and gap, 03:02-03:03 skip[ and gap, D1T3 gap 02:44
5-Aug-84 E. Rutherford, NJ No Place Like Home 1 Tradeable excellent
8-Aug-84 E. Rutherford, NJ Brendan Byrne Arena 3 Tradeable I think I was at this show. Just excellent sound and performance.
11-Aug-84 E. Rutherford, NJ Brendan Byrne Arena 3 Tradeable
12-Aug-84 E. Rutherford, NJ Brendan Byrne Arena 3 Tradeable
16-Aug-84 E. Rutherford, NJ Do You Love Me 3 Tradeable great show, a few ruff edits, nice sound.
17-Aug-84 E. Rutherford, NJ Brendan Byrne Arena - Meadowlands 3 Tradeable great show, good sound. Great filler, yet I don’t know where it is from.
19-Aug-84 E. Rutherford, NJ Brendan Byrne Arena 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) mp3 analyser was cool on this, no problem.  There are a lot of ruff edits and an occasional flaw. Yet, this is an excellent and fun show. One flaw (not the only, but using as an example) is d2t10 at ~09:00. Another would be d2t2 where "Thunder Road" was cut.  D2T11 is the song "Bobby Jean", this song is not listed as being played on brucebase, yet killing floor includes it. Killing floor also lists last section of last song as "Twist and Shout", whereas this cd's last song is "Travelling Band" (cut), and that agrees with Brucebase. confused yet ?  great cd for completist.
20-Aug-84 E. Rutherford, NJ Last Great Show 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) really nice recording. Fun show.
26-Aug-84 Largo, MD Be True 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) pretty good sounding show, with occassional microblips between tracks. Nice concert. I analsysed for mp3 and just couldn’t tell. The frequencies did not have a severe drop off , but did drop near 18000 with occassional traces to 20,000+. If you are looking for this specific date, you should consider taking as long as you realize the potential flaws.
28-Aug-84 Largo, MD Capital Center 3 pending my review this appears to be 8/20/84, trader wrote, "last great show", still can check for gaps, as my 8/20/84 has em
3-Sep-84 Asbury Park, NJ The Stone Pony (w/John Eddie) 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) not the best of quality, slight hiss.I need to rip t13-16 as I have on one cd , called JE Club dates
11-Sep-84 Philadelphia, PA The Spectrum 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) According to brucebase, wooly booly mght have been played, my cd has Wooly Bully. My cd agrees with killing floor. This cd ends with prisoner of rock and roll. High energy show, with decent sound and truly awesome performance. Calls philly his home away from home.  my cd has traveling band during detroit medley. not mentioned on any site, but probably because part of medley (or maybe i have unauthenticated show :-)
14-Sep-84 Philadelphia, PA The Full Spectrum 4 Tradeable excellent sound, excellent cd
17-Sep-84 Philadelphia, PA The Spectrum 3 pending my review
17-Sep-84 Philadelphia, PA The Spectrum ( sound check) 1 Tradeable fair to poor quality, but very interesting stuff.
18-Sep-84 Philadelphia, PA This Gun's For Hire 3 Tradeable awesome cd

21-Oct-84 Oakland, CA Oakland Night 3 Tradeable
22-Oct-84 Oakland, CA Coliseum 3 Tradeable
31-Oct-84 Los Angeles, CA The Sports Arena 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) sound is fair to good.  I did not test for mp3, I need to , if I ever get around to it, hence, if you take, accept with that knowledge.  Some tape clicks and minor errors, in between some tracks, primarily d2 and d3 (not every track).  Performance was awesome.
8-Nov-84 Tempe, AZ Arizona State University 3 Tradeable
11-Nov-84 Denver, CO McNichols Arena 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) CD1 (72:15) - Born In The USA [5:23] / Prove It All Night [5:36] / Out In The Street [5:51] / Atlantic City [5:40] / Johnny 99 [4:15] / Reason To Believe [5:59] / Mansion On The Hill [4:05] / Johnny Bye Bye [3:01] / Darlington County [5:08] / Glory Days [8:40] / The Promised Land [7:06] / Shut Out The Light [4:58] / My Hometown [6:28]

CD2 (72:27) - Badlands [5:30] / Thunder Road [7:00] / Cover Me [6:00] / Dancing In The Dark [5:25] / Hungry Heart [4:38] / Cadillac Ranch [6:20] / Downbound Train [4:46] / I'm On Fire [3:55] / Stolen Car - Pink Cadillac - Bobby Jean [18:11] / Racing In The Street [10:38]

This setlist doesn't match the one given in Brucebase or Killing Floor. Here are the comments on KILLING FLOOR about this:

11-Nov-1984 Denver, CO McNicholls Arena, USA

01 Born in the USA / 02 Out in the street / 03 Darlington county / 04 Atlantic City / 05 Reason to Believe / 06 Nebraska / 07 State trooper / 08 Johnny bye bye / 09 Prove it all night / 10 Glory days / 11 The promised land / 12 My hometown / 13 Badlands / 14 Thunder road / 15 Hungry heart / 16 Dancing in the dark / 17 Cadillac ranch / 18 No surrender / 19 Cover me / 20 Growin' up / 21 Bobby Jean / 22 Racing in the street / 23 Jungleland / 25 Born to run / 26 Detroit Medley / 27 Twist and shout

Some sources state the above setlist is from a tape mix from 2 Denver nigths. A possible setlist for 11-11 is: Born in the USA - Prove it all night - Out in the street - Atlantic City - Johnny 99 - Reason to Believe - Mansion on the hill - Johnny Bye Bye - Darlington county - Glory days - The promised land - Shut out the light - My Hometown - Badlands - Thunder road - Cover me - Dancing in the Dark - Hungry heart - Cadillac ranch - Downbound train - I'm on fire - Stolen car - Pink Cadillac - Bobby Jean - Racing in the street - Jungleland - Born to run - Detroit Medley - Twist and shout - Santa Claus is comin' to town

08-Jan-85 Indianapolis, IN Market Square Arena 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) waveform showed classic mp3 signature, yet audio had no indication of such. I did not hear any microclicks and no seams , other than an occasional tape stop (if any).fair to good sound, and awesome show. Great set list. First "Can't Stop Falling In Love", other songs are "Shut Out The Light", "Johnny 99", "Reason To Believe". fun cd, good for completists, with the understanding that this is potentially an mp3 via a waveform.

26-Jan-85 Syracuse, NY Carrier Dome 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) a few ruff cuts and edits, yet overall a fairly nice sound and show. I ran a frequency analyser and it showed a classic drop at 18k (not 16k). Hence this theoretically could be an mp3, yet I heard no gaps or microclicks. Take at your own risk. I reviewed this disc on 021803 and it seemed fine.
27-Jan-85 Syracuse, NY Carrier Dome 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) cd sounds good, some tape hiss, but a rarer show and from a completists historical selection it is okay.  Sounded seamless.  d2 is missing Growing Up, this is my second cd of this show and replacement was also missing growing up.
23-Mar-85 Sydney, Australia Sydney Entertainment Center 3 pending my review

15-Apr-85 Tokyo, Japan YoYogi Olympic Pool 2 pending my review
23-Apr-85 Osaka, Japan Osaka - Castle Hall 2 Tradeable ( see comments ) This is an excellent show. Awesome intro to " My Hometown". If you look at Brucebase the setlist does not match, yet it does mention that this is the same cd as "last night in the east". If you look at brucelegs under "Last Night In the East", you will see identical set list to my cd, except my cd has "Bobby Jean", which is not listed. Brucelegs also identifies the date as April 22, 1985, whereas Brucebase indicates that the date on the boot is incorrect and should be April 23, 1985. Trader who is very knowledgable insists that this is the right cd for this date. Nevertheless, if you accept this in a trade, please understand that there is an inherent possibility that the set list is incorrect. Unless you know the set list is wrong, this is a gem for any collection.

Trader mentioned that he thinks his source in UK taped the show and that there was an inherent problem with the tape. This is a nice cd, and you may want to take if you are looking for this date and ultimately if one exists, upgrade it.

21-Aug-85 E. Rutherford, NJ Giants Stadium 3rd night 3 Trade Warning fair AUD recording.  Brucebase indicates that last track is "sherry darling", killing floor questions the last 2 tracks.  My cd has last track as  "Jersey girl", Joosee org, agrees with brucebase.  Take at own risk, as my cd is missing the last track.
22-Aug-85 E. Rutherford, NJ Glory Days Boss 1 Tradeable ( see comments ) quick gap on t10 6:30.this is the Glory Days Boot. Its pretty good, but only part of the show. It would be nice to have the entire show and I don't know the history as to why only 10 songs of the show were turned into a boot. Nice sound and fun.
01-Sep-85 E. Rutherford, NJ Giants Stadium 1985 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) Brucebase lists Thunder Road. Joose.org has it omitted.  Killing Floor writes, "Thunder Road is missing from some sources, but it's very unlikely to have been left out."  My set does NOT have Thunder Road.  There is intermitent slight quality problems, but nothing too terrible.  Decent show to have for completist.
4-Sep-85 Pontiac, MI Pontiac Silverdome 3 pending my review Thunder Road fades out early. Drop-out in Hungry Heart. Skip in Pink Cadillac (3)
9-Sep-85 Miami, FL Orange Bowl 2 pending my review trader mentioned " CD1 - 76:28; CD2 - 69:12. INCOMPLETE SHOW - missing Working On The Highway, Dancing In The Dark & Stand On It. Fades beteween most of the tracks."
13-Sep-85 Dallas, TX Cotton Bowl 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) brucebase setlist does not agree with setlist on my cd.  i confirmed that date is 9/13/85, since he mentions dallas, mentions he played liberty hall 10 years earlier, and says "see ya tomorrow" which he did on 9/14/85.  my cd matches the setlist below, which matches killing floor.  I have the [?] below (below is cut and paste from killing floor).  Sound is somewhat muddled, nice story for The River and pretty good performance.

01 Born in the USA
02 Badlands
03 Out in the street
04 Johnny 99
05 Seeds
06 Atlantic City [?]
07 The river
08 Working on the highway
09 Trapped
10 I'm going down [?]
11 Glory days
12 The promised land
13 My hometown
14 Thunder road
15 Cover me
16 Dancing in the dark
17 Hungry heart
18 Cadillac ranch
19 Downbound train [?]
20 I'm on fire
21 Pink cadillac
22 Bobby Jean
23 This land is your land
24 Born to run
25 Ramrod
26 Travellin' band [Played 'cos an artificial leg was thrown on stage!]
27 Twist and shout
28 Stand on it

Note:
Travellin' Band is added in the encores in response to an artificial leg being thrown on stage. The setlist is uncertain, since some sources says: Darkness in place of Atlantic city Darlington county in place of I'm goin' down No surrender in place of Downbound Train Can't help fallin… in place of This land is your land
19-Sep-85 Oakland, CA Used Car in Oakland 3 pending my review
24-Sep-85 Denver, CO Mile High Stadium 3 Trade Warning lots of flaws, yet, not a bad sounding show. For completists only.  Occasional click b/w tracks. I did not run through mp3 analyser, yet the clicks were not on all tracks. Take at own risk.

29-Sep-85 Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles Coliseum 3 Tradeable ( see comments ) my cd is  missing Stand On It & Travellin' Band at the end of the show .  It should be there, according to Brucebase and Killing Floor. My cd agrees with joose site, so please take at own risk.
